~~MINI-BYPASS~~ feedback

Hi everyone,

I am still researching  a revision and am leaning towards the RNY from a revision from a old band in 99..

I wanted to know your thoughts on the " MGB" mini-bypass.....just want to make sure I am leaving no stone unturned. I read some posts on the MGB forum, not many people post there, I am assuming because not that many people are having this procedure.????

Any experiences with it?

Dallas Dr's that perform it? I haven't seen it listed on their websites....

Sorry no ones responded yet.  The MGB is rarely done now as far as I remember.  I do recall a lady on the main board when I visited there right after my surgery that ended up revised because of complications with the MGB.....you might post this on the main board also if you haven't yet.

If I were needing a revision I'd look at the ERNY or the DS as both have more malabsorption, although you'll need to be EXTRA diligent with supplementation.
