Kateri, sorry you aren't getting anything extra out of it. In this economy selling a house is good. There is a bright spot with no foreclosure.
There are so many homes for sale in this area it's crazy. I don't see allot moving, especially the upper end homes. They say houses under $150,000 are selling those in the $200,000+ range aren't.

Well....I am sorry that you won't make any money on your home...but at least you aren't getting the foreclosure on it either. It could always be worse....at least you will be out from under it.

Sorry you had to go through this - it does suck that you did not make any money, but I know many of my friends who are in new homes are finding themselves in similar if not worse positions - where they owe more then the house is now valued.
I think the Lord every day that our house is fully paid for....Just worry about paying taxes on it each year....especially for some reason - our valuation keeps going up.
