These are friends of ours. John and I are both very confused over this. Please pray that this situation can be resolved peacefully and not violently.

Wow and oh crap it sounds bad for all involved. Doesn't say if the baby was with them. Hope there's a positive outcome.

From what we have been told the kids were left elsewhere. Sorry, when I originally posted this the line wasn't in the article about the baby. I didn't want to say any more than the article said!

Hopefully if he gets desperate he'll consider the kids and not leave them parent-less...this just sounds like a really really bad deal. Working for a PD for 10 years in CA I saw and heard a lot. I hope he has his say and lets her go.

I just read about them this evening in the paper when we where having dinner.

The story was sad enough, but so much more shocking when you know the people involved. I pray for a peaceful outcome.
