Chicken Questions!!!
Ok guys, I'm officially 3 months post op and I now weigh 220!!! From 285!!!!! I can't believe it!! I'm feeling great!!
I just started back on my birth control, and I decided to try to NuvaRing that many of you suggested... it's def. .... different... just started it this week, so I'm guessing it will take some time to get used to it. Also, I know I might hit a stall at this point with starting it back up, but I really need to be back on it! My body has been going crazy for 3 months, and now I need to get it back regulated!!!!! :)
Just wanted to give everyone a little update, but I do have a quick question!!! I LOVE chicken, and pretty much eat some form daily. I love to bake it or gril it on the george forman grill, but one type I do miss is the chicken nuggets, and strips that you can buy from the store and just bake! They are easy to pop in the oven after a long hard day of work and school, my only question is, are they ok to eat? I usually eat boneless/skinless chicken!!! How bad is the breading on these nuggest/strips???? Would you eat them, I guess is what I'm really asking!! Thanks for any suggestions gang!!!!! You are all alwyas SO helpful!!! :)

Stacy, I don't recommend them, the breading is pretty high carb. BUT, if you feel like having one or two and watching the rest of the day, it's not the end of the world.
The used the NuvaRing early post-op and did well with it for a couple of months then had spot through, I couldn't use it. Good luck with it, it was by far one of the better choices for me while it worked.

I do have chicken tenders from time to time. I even have chicken selects from McD's. No harm, no foul. Everything in moderation, of course.
