WLS Vets Challenge day on Wednesday -anyone welcome
I'm going to do it, so count me in. Except I don't really eat leafy vegetables more than once a day. My system just can't take it. But I'll do lean meat and some cooked vegetables.
I enjoyed the chat last night. It's helpful to see that others are having similar struggles, especially people who I consider so highly successful at post-WLS life. Thanks everybody for sharing your experience and advice. It was motivational for me.

Vicki and others, the veggies don't have to be raw just of the green, leafy family since those are lower carbs.
I'm debating what to cook for tomorrow. I'm thinking about getting talapia tonight and maybe some crab meat to roll up in the talapia. Also going to get some brussel sprouts, haven't had them in a while and I heart them, lol.

Becky & Dana thanks for taking time to help all of us out. We need all the help we can get. I sure would like to see people that are at least 5 or 6 yrs out give us some in put. I love hearing the people that are 2 or 3 yrs out. But, I was really in the honeymoon phase then. I do not remember struggling until at least 3 yrs out. I wish every one here the best. But, just remember it only gets harder. I don't know of anyone saying this gets easier. NEVER!
I feel like I have a open hole in my stomach and I NEVER EVER GET any kind of fullness feeling. I am beginning to thinkt that this may not be hard... it may be un-do-able. Again thanks for being such a intergal part of the TMB..

Smile, it increases your face value.
Sweetie, I was at that point at the beginning of the year and my surgeon was actually considering a slight appetite suppressant to help me, but my other meds have actually done it. do you think that's something your doctor might consider?
How can we help you? Will you join us tomorrow?
