Okay...we have to be accountable for what we put in our mouth.  I will have the advantage next week of only having to worry about what I eat and not be feeding spouse and child most of the time.  I can't blame what I eat after that on anyone but me.  Saying we're not going to eat ANY carbs is very  unrealistic, but we need to wipe out as much pasta, rice and potatoes as much as possible and limit the times we have these.

Gee...what have I had lately: pasta w/ meat sauce and oriental beef/rice!

I have been going out to eat at lunch because it's our inservice/work day weeks at school, but starting next week that definitely comes to an end.

Becky, I didn't see your post until this morning.  I can't get on OH at work and my computer was having problems until later last night and I never came back to OH.  Great idea...if ya'll chatted, sorry I missed it.
Let me know if ya'll came up w/ a plan!

Today's plan:
lots of liquids...had 96 oz. yesterday
at least 2 protein drinks...had 2 yesterday
crawfish pie for lunch...eating leftovers
leftover meat/pasta dish for dinner
fruit for snack if needed

Good Morning Karla & TMB,

I cheated a little bit with rice and gravy yesterday. But today is a new day and I am back at again.

Today's plan:
B-Coffee and eggs
L-Pork chop, mustard greens
D-Salad

I do understand. I can read OH but I can't respond or post.  Sucks but at least I can keep up somehow.

we are going to have another chat Wed. night at 8pm and Tawnya will have the link for it. Belinda even made it to the chat so it was great!  We also are challenged to do the basics on Wednesday of only lean meats and leafy greens.. then report in  at the chat.  we will also do a 'pre challenge' post about it today..

Well the crazy vacation schedule is over so I have no excuses to not eat right.  I was extremely lucky that the scale is actually lower this morning than before vacation.  I am at 159.4 and that still in my range, but.. well, you know.

Breakfast and lunch is packed and it is back to protein and more protein.    let's see how my body reacts!

Becky...sounds like a good plan, but no way I can do that eating plan tomorrow at this pt.  I just now got on here and saw this and it's already after 7:00 pm.  I'm tired and in my jammies and not going to the store now.  It's also Ben's last week home and I already have my mind set to start buckling down next Monday after he's at college.  I've got too much on my plate right now.  If everybody wants to start posting on ya'lls food plan we can leave off this morning one.  It won't hurt my feelings in the least and may be easier to do the next day's plan in the afternoon than early morning.  It will give me a chance to get up and exercise in the am anyway.  I can't get up earlier than 5:00 a.m. and survive the days at work.  I think it's a great plan.  Wish I had known about the chat last night and could have joined ya'll.  I'll chime in next week when I can participate.

we will keep you in the loop either no here or FB. it was all last minute and just seemed to work.   I am sure that getting Ben all ready to go is a job in itself.

I don't know if I can be the one to continue this post, but I'm sure that one of us can, just like with the train.   if you post tomorrow morning and add that you want to turn over the reins to someone else, then i'm sure you will have some takers.

thank you so much for doing this for months and months on end.  We all needed it whether we would post or not.

Yesterday was much better day for me.  Lots of fluids in and that helped some.  Same plan for today!  Encore performances make it easier on me.

Yesterday was bad for me.  I was helping Hailey move all day and ended up at Church's chicken for lunch.  That was the first time I've had fried chicken in over 3 years.  It was OK but not as great as I remember.  Anyway, I look forward to the back to basics with everyone else.  I would love to lose another 10 lbs but I'm not sure it I can.  My body seems to like it where it is.

I had a better day yesterday, mostly because my pouch is still feeling finicky.  Instead of complaining that my pouch is grouchy, I'm trying to take advantage of it and consider it as motivation to eat less and healthier.

Here's today's plan --

Coffee
B - Greek yogurt with a nectarine
S - Protein drink
L - Lean Cuisine
S - Cheese stick
D - Grilled shrimp skewers

Water, crystal lite, etc.
