Terrific Tuesday WLS Express

I'm off to Denton for another fabulous day of unpacking and decorating Hailey's apartment.  We actually got everything unpacked yesterday but we have no place to put stuff.  So today we're stopping at Lowe's and picking up some shelves and we're gonna make a pantry out of her coat closet.  Wish me luck, I've never tried being a carpenter before, lol.  We also have the Verizon guy coming out to install cable and internet.  They say the installation takes 4 hours, oh joy!!

Don't forget, Dallas area peeps, my TV debut is tomorrow night at 10 PM channel 5 news.

How fun Steph that you get to work with your daughter on her apartment.  I would have loved to have done something like that with my Mom, but of course every apartment I moved into was strictly for partying reasons!  Have a super day.

Steph, I have it on my calender at work beside my desk. Someone said "Who is Steph and why is she on t.v. tommorrow?" I said she is one of great looking girlfriends that have had wls.. LOL

Good morning Train Riders!  We had a great turn out at the Collin Cty group and had some long lost faces show up!  It was great seeing Jenn D and Eric S, they are both looking absolutely fantastic!  We also had some new people which is always a blessing. 

Today will be busy busy for me.  I made up a list of things to do before I left yesterday and I need to get that started so I can hopefully get them all done between meetings.  Right after work I'm meeting up with Lynnette to plan a wedding shower for someone we all love!  Then I'm meeting the ladies from my church for dinner at Mimi's cafe.  I think I'll take a look at their menu ahead of time if it's on line and decide on what to get before I get there.  I do much better when I have my mind made up ahead of time instead of being tempted by too many choices and good smells when I'm there.

Good Morning OH Family!

My goodness it's seems like forever since I've been on the train. Things have been crazy busy but good busy. I'm still happy from the weekend. I kept Layla last night and we played. I've missed her since I've gone back to work. Allie is in Destin  on vacation with her mommie and aunt. Can't believe they went with the hurricanes, but said the weather is ok. Today I'm getting to meet with our Debbi to plan a bridal shower for someone we know. You know how I love to plan a party. Would love for yall to join us to help. We will be at the STBX on Bethany around 5ish. Don't worry if you can't be there right at 5 I will be in the area later shopping if you want to meet. Well better get going. Special prayers for baby Elizabeth's family.

Hello, everyone.  I read this thread almost everyday and feel like I already know some of you. 

My question is this:  I'm not opting for surgery, though I need support in my weight-loss effort.  I know there is a non-surgical board, which I also read everyday, though it isn't as active as this one.  Am I allowed to post on this thread as a Texan?  Or do I need to have had or am planning to have surgery?

Thanks for your answer.  I don't want to get it wrong.

Hey Belle-
The title of the site is obesity help...   with obesity being the focus of the forum. Not everybody on this site has had surgery, and not everyone who has had surgery opted for the same type of surgery. With all of that being said- you are VERY welcome to post here in regards to weight loss. There is a lot of diversity on this site and there is a lot of valuable information to be gleened from the folks on this board. I know that I couldn't have done as well without the love and support of others here.
