Ok, thought I'd start a new thread so everyone can see and post in one place.  What do you PLAN on doing tomorrow food wise?  Throw your ideas out, it may give others options they hadn't thought about.

This is what I have planned:

Breakfast:  microwaved Turkey pepperoni
Snack:  Low fat ham wrapped around a dill pickle
Lunch:  Talapia with crabmeat roll, steamed brussel sprouts
Snack:  low fat ham wrapped around a dill pickle
Dinner:  either more talapia or grilled chicken with brussel sprouts or spinach

Sometimes during the day I'll throw in a protein shake.

edited:  changed deli roast beef to ham, the deli was FULL after work and I needed to get the boys so I grabbed ham instead.

I went shopping during my break and I'm all psyched up about tomorrow.  WooHoo!  I CAN DO THIS!!!

I thought I'd post my plan for tomorow for a few reasons....1) to provide ideas to others and 2) to be accountable for my actions if only to myself and 3) cause Becky told me to (she's at work without computer access).  lol

So here goes....

B:  Western Egg White Omlette
S: grilled ham and cheese sticks (see egg face site)
L: Shelly's Herbalicious Chicken Salad (see egg face site)
S: Shelly's California Roll Salad  (another egg face recipe, sorry it's my fave!)
D: grilled, seasoned sirloin with a side of mustard greens and a spring mix salad with a sugar-free/no-fat thousand island dressing
S: turkey meatballs on toothpicks

What will you be eating tomorrow for the challenge?

Ok I had to go look at the grilled ham and cheese sticks.....yummo.  I missed that one somewhere.  Might give that a try on Thursday.  I want to avoid cheese tomorrow, I'm probably going "overboard" with choices to a fault......I need to find the mental balance of one extreme to another.

lordy, what did I get myself into starting all this up.  I had to come home and cook!  But I'm about done.  Haven't decided on breakfast yet.

Are we allowing eggs and/or cheese?

Breakfast -  ???

Lunch - Chicken breast stuffed with bacon and chives
Broccoli slaw minus the corn cuz that ain't no veggie! but with some extra sunflower seeds for crunch.

Dinner - ??? well that's not decided yet either.  Will wait for more posts to see what everyone else is doing.

Becky, my plan didn't include cheese or eggs from my surgeon.  HOWEVER, I don't see it as a problem if you are watching the fat content in the cheese.  Boiled eggs and 2% cheese sounds great for breakfast.

I won't vary from my surgeon's plan for the time being but will at some point add back in cottage cheese, eggs and cheese.

My fish is defrosting, I've got the crab meat and my veggies.  I'm really looking forward to the 'refocus' and knowing I have others doing this with me.  Not feeling "alone" makes it much easier to be accountable.

I'm on nights..8pm-8am these past 2 nights, and scheduled to do the same tonight, so gotta keep this pretty simple for now, with things already on hand. Richard is cooking me up some brisket tonight, since that's what's in the freezer.

Sooooo....

Taking protein bars to work tonight, to eat at midnight and 4am, cuz I already have them available-and I LIKE them !

Beek jerky in  work bag for snack, and to keep me awake, chewing

Water bottle in bag-will refill, repeated times thru the shift

Brisket when I get home in the morning, with some spinach..weird, I know, but since is the life of "shift work" !

I def need to restock my pantry with some more exciting stuff!!
