Hello George,

thank you so much for the kind offer.  I actually have a request.  My surgery went great (lap-RNY) except my bowels were slow to fire up which caused an additional two days in the hospital.  That was no big deal.  I started healing nicely but about ten days ago I started having nausea, vomiting and difficulty even drinking more than a teaspoon of water at a time.  I had a stricure that my surgeon repaired on Friday and I can now eat and drink but I feel nauseated (in my bowels-not my stomach, I'm weak and generally feeling pretty punky.  I am hoping this was just a setback from the stricture (dehydration, lack of protein...) but I would really appreciate the prayers.  Being a husband and father to three young children, I don't want my health being a huge burden on them.

God Bless,

Chris

Hi George,

You can take Patrick off the prayer list.  As of last Thursday, he is off of all medications except one for hypertension.  He's finally beginning to feel better.  I think, after a few weeks for his body to adjust to being off all the meds, he's finally on the road to recovery.  Thank you to everyone who has prayed for him ... and thanks be to God for his recovery.

I'm still looking for the right employment situation. Hopefully we find each other soon, but I'd love to still be a prayer recipient in the meantime.

Please put the Dunford family on your list. They lost their little girl Elizabeth Grace to leukemia. This is Vanessa's friend. Keep your eyes on Jesus!!
