Saturday WLS Express

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

I slept in this morning till 6:30 thats pretty good for me!  Alissa I am so excited for you and your tirp to San Antonio.  You are going to have a great time.  It's always fun to connect with old friends especially when they have not seen you since pre surgery!  If Chris and Bryan are anything like Mark and Eric they will have a blast no matter what they do and will be glad to have a little guy time.  Not to much on the agenda for today,  Need to go to Walmart and return some PJ's that I bought Eric.  They were to small.  Also want to go to the exchange on base.  I like to go there once a week and see what they have on sale.  Wont buy stuff full price from there to expensive. Other then that no other plans.  Gina, hope you are getting rested from you Vacation.  Cant wait to hear all about it.  Ok time to get a move on.  Prayers this morning for those that need them.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Off to Walmart in a few minutes to try to beat most of the crowd.  I have to have some stuff or I wouldn't go.  I think I have a tummy bug, but's it's a bearable one.  It's gone around our office this week.
 Ben said his bothered him after fish camp and he thought it was the food, but I bet it was this bug, too.

House cleaning when I come home and then a little sewing.

was wide awake at 6 am b/c my mom called - her, Jennie and bro had been in holland for 2 weeks (the same 2 weeks Tim's been gone already) anyhow I forgot I had changed Tim's ring so when my phone rang I flipped out trying to find it and then was wide awake - came down stairs - eliptical and shake - pork roast with apircot jelly, garlic and soy sauce into the oven (after I cleaned it from last nights chicken pot pies) to cook slow all day - started making indivdule desserts - keeping sf jello with fruit, sf puddings with fruit or pretizels or whatevers in them all in the fridge - much easyer than letting the kids (and ME) try to serve a resonable protion out of a big bowl -  got the kitchen cleaned up good - Rach just got up - about the time Tim called-after 2 hours of talking with my mom LOL
sooooo nice to get to talk to him

we are going to go hit a few yard sales then off to savannah to go to sams club - I know by the time I figure in gas it problably doesn't save me any money to buy things there but I need to GO somewhere

feeling very ansy today - shouldn't be hormonal just finished with that - who knows - but I do know I am off to run run run
oh funny  - my fil told me yesterday when I was saying how mellow life is here "you know you don't have to fill every min of every day with things to do"  you woudl think after as long as Tim and I have been married he would know me better than that LOL

Happy Saturday!  Was reminded that it is Saturday when I woke King up in a panic at 6:30 thinking he was late to work.  That's the second time I've done that in the last month or so.  LOL

He's off the the racecar shop to play with the other woman and get ready for tonight.  I'm going to do some more cleaning / decluttering around here.  Planning on starting to clean out the closets and rearrange some stuff.  Seems like King has taken over way too much space!  I'm planning on pulling out and bagging up some stuff for the OH conference clothing exchange in the process. 

Already made a grocery and SBUX run.  Going to a get together with some non-WLS friends tonight, but they are getting WLS friendly dessert (ssshhhh, don't tell 'em!).  Sorry I'm not going to make Lynnette's FABULOUS @ FIFTY party though    I'm sure everyone will have a wondermous time at Pete's.

Happy Saturday Everyone,

What an awesome day I had yesterday, if we qualify it as after 12 noon... that's a long story, so we won't even count it.

Emm and I got to Moody Gardens at noon and it was so awesome.  We had a memory maker that will last for years! We had the penquin encounter with only 4 other people and got to spend an hour in a room with 'babe' the penquin.  Then Babe painted a picture for us and I won it. Emm was so mesmerized and excited she didn't say a word.

Now this Emm, I find out was in cahoots with our wonderful Terry.    When we got back to the house, and our WIZ arrived, we had dinner at Mosquito Cafe.  Emm played the whole "Mom I still don't know what the surprise is..." until we drove into the parking lot of the Grand Playhouse to see TUNA DOES VEGAS.  And it was Emm's idea!!! They had been working on surprising me for a week.  I never laughed so much and it was sooo needed.

Liz, Terry and my Emmmm , you guys are the best!!! Feeling so stressed and this just did it.. Love you all!

Can't wait for the day.. We are up drinking coffee, talking girly stuff..  We will do another partial day at Moody Gardens, then just hang out..

GOOD MORNING, TMB!!!

I have a house full of MY PEEPS this morning!!!  Wiz and Becky and Emily are here along with B&B, Maddie and my pack of 3.....We have a houseful of puppy dogs this morning on the Island!!  [Que/Tom:  No pictures but lots o B&B stories!!!]

We sprung an Emily inspired surprise on Becky last nite.  Emily PM'd me on FB about how Becky was a great fan of the "Tuna" series. So, I got us tickets for the 8pm show last nite.  Wiz, and Emily and I all knew what the surprise was but Emily told her Mom she had no idea what it was.  We went to dinner at Mosquito cafe.......and then drove by the Grand 1894 Opera House and Becky told the story about how she and Em were going to see Tuna Christmas and Emily got sick and they had to leave 15 minutes into the show.  Well, last nite, we got to see the WHOLE show and it is hilarious!!!!!

Today is coffee with the girls waiting on Emily to wake up then going to Moody Gardens.  I think dinner is going to be at Rainforest Cafe.  I am so loving all my summertime company this summer!!!!!

and here i am to bring up the rear lol.  Drove from Trophy Club to Azle to get the kids to Galveston, dropped off B & B , then Mosqueto cafe for dinner (YUMMO) then the surprise for Becky. Tuna does Vegas was the funniest one yet! Bless Terry's heart, I didnt make it here in time to drop B&B in katy, so had to bring them wiht me. So house full of doggies lol.  But we are doing ok with them :)
