Support and advice needed please?
Hey guys...I posted about a week ago of my trials and tribulations.... Basically, the rundown is, my weightloss had a major stall and even though I'm about 8 months postop, the scale has been stalled for about three months. This is in part to: at first I wasn't getting enough protein, so my body thought I was starving...then I was depressed I wasn't losing so I started drinking the occasional soda again (this is really my only weakness)...and I wasn't working out because I had been layed off from work and lost my gym membership....
So.........I am trying to get back on track. Even though I haven't been as active as before, I know I have been getting in my protein, and do not eat bad, and have not been drinking enough soda for me to lose NO weight... I have an appt with my surgeon on Wednesday and will hopefully follow up with him and see if there are any underlying issues...
I have been back at work for a bit now, and am rejoining a gym this week. I know the first step is to completely cut out the sodas and increase my water intake.
Any other advice? Should I try my pre-op liquid diet or just protein shakes and a small meal daily to jumpstart my weightloss again???
Thanks so much to anyone who made it to the bottom of this...I really appreciate all of your support!
