Thank you Sarah! That is exactly how I feel! LOL. Like I am failing and I will never see the weight come off. The sad part is, I look in the mirror and I just don't see it. Especially in my face- I feel like my face and arms are still huge!

How about this?  The side-by-side comparisons were always so dramatic for me!

Hey girl!! Ease up on yourself!! You are doing great, be patient with yourself. How much you lose will vary and fluctuate!! make sure you are getting enough protein and calories! You do need a minimum number of calories for your body not to go in starvation mode! Do not panic you wil also go through stalls and plateaus while you body adjust to your new eating plan and its lighter weight!!

You are not doing anything wron but if it worries you talk to your nutritionist or your Doctor!!

Thanks Meggie!!
I am just sick of these stalls... I try so hard, I really do. I put a lot of effort into planning my meals and counting every calorie, carb, gram of protein, etc.  & to put such an effort into it and then not see ANY results for 2 -3 weeks at a time is frustrating. I lose for 1-2 weeks, then stall for 2 weeks. I alway**** 2-3 week stalls every month. Uggh, LOL. It bites. My calories are between 700-800 a day, give or take.

I had lots of stalls like that so I do understand! Talk to your nutritionist and make sure you are getting enough calories! Are you exercising?? Sounds like everything is ok!! Hang in there!! Just look at it that the scale is NOT going up,up,up!! It is consistantly going DOWN!!!

I was at 263 the day of my RNY on 12/26/09 -- roughly the same weight you were at the time of your RNY -- and did not hit Onederland until April 30, a little more than four months later.  Now I have lost 90 pounds and am heading for a size 12 ... how cool is that?!

There were several maddening stalls along the way for me, too, but trust me, the scale always starts moving again.  Try to limit your weigh-ins to once or twice a week.  That takes discipline, but it helps you sleep at night!

Keep the faith, girl.  You are doing so much better than you think you are.

Try not to stress.  I think that can effect your weight loss too.  You sound so much like me in my journey.  What would work for me is for a few days increase your calories a bit and then go back.  That always seemed to help jumpstart my weight loss again.  Change up your eating routine and what you eat.

Don't beat yoruself up.  You are doing a GREAT job.  It will come off.  There is something about being so close to onderland.  I can remember it seemed like it took me forever to break through and once I did it wasn't so hard.

Thank you so much Teena! I looked at my weight loss tracker and I noticed it has been over 3 weeks since I lost anything and I am due for my period at the end of the week. So I am sure, knowing my track record, I will not lose anything the week before or OF my period, so that will mean at least 4 or 5 weeks w/o any loss. That is frustrating. I am SOOO close. LOL. I am so afraid of failing it is not even funny.  I know that is crazy thinking, but I really do. I am getting in all my fluids and protien, especially protein. I have made a huge effort in getting my protein in first.
Thanks for the words of wisdom... I hope it will come off soon. I know it will not happen in a month, or three or four, but not seeing any loss really messes with your head sometimes! That is why "diets" never worked for me in the past. LOL. The second I went too long w/o losing, I stopped.
