Good morning Train Riders! Happy Friday!!! Wooohooo!! Had another good day yesterday. Busy day at work, but not too busy, still working on some big projects that are keeping me hopping. Sat in on a teleconference Leader Support Group meeting last night, that was really nice and helps me get back into the Leader mode again. Then I took the dogs on a walk 1/2 way around the complex and did my back exercises at home. It felt good to get some movement in again. So, I did some more back exercises this morning and took the dogs for a slightly shorter walk, but enjoyed the weather.

Jeff went to his gaming conference yesterday. He came home around 2 or 3 am to sleep and will be heading back out there this morning. I'll probably head over that way tomorrow sometime, although parking costs $15 so I'll have to really decide if its worth it. My plan is to go to Pete's tomorrow night for Lynnette's birthday, then my normal church and family time on Sunday. I need to do some grocery shopping too, but need to wait for Jeff to be home to carry the groceries in.

With both of us unemployed, weekend plans are limited. But - we are going tonight to play spades w/ a friend of our's who got laid off from where my husband worked also. (So - they know about being broke - going to barbeque and play cards....)
Saturday - a friend we have not seen for awhile is coming over to house to again barbeque and play dominos.
Amazing - how when you are broke - you remember what things you can do for free and realize you have missed doing them.
Next weekend is my mother's 90th birthday bash - so Friday of next week I will be cooking, cooking, cooking.

Quick drive by with my hair on fire this morning! Overslept.....busy at work.......and then have a PEEPS weekend in Galveston!! This is like 4 weekends this summer - how cool is that!!!

Remember your water - it's hot out there! NO E.R. runs this weekend for dehydration or anything else!!!!

Good Morning OH Family!

First of all, thank you so much for my birthday wishes yesterday! I got a beautiful strand of pearls from Summer. It's tradition in our family to get "pearls of wisdom" on your 50th bd. Rick got me a spa gift cert. And both kiddos sent me a beautiful flower arrangement from my babies. I can't wait until Sat night to really celebrate. Those that are coming we really need to have our tables full by 8am. Still love my job, things are really busy, but busy good. Mom is still in the hospital.They put a tube in for the gallstones, but she has contracted a staph infection in her bladder from the hospital. uuugh! bless her heart she keeps hanging in there and with such a positive attitude. Well I better hop in the shower and get ready for work. Martina McBride is going to be there tonight, so it is going to be busy.
