the weekend is almost here!!! what are your plans - b/c failing to plan to have fun is planning to fail at having fun

so get up, deal with today and take on a fun filled weekend!!!

no clue why I did not go back to bed - I do know why I am awake at least LOL - had Tim's phone on from switching the battery and it went off for him to get up for PT an hour ago - took me about 15 mins to figure out WHAT it was (had left the phone in the new trashcan I carried everything in in ON the stairs) loud beeping echos - umm not so much please LOL

anyhow - we are going with another army wife and her kids to the oatland wild animal center and then to explore tybee island on Sat and then on Sunday we are going to check out some of the services at the chapel on base

today other than meeting up with other toddler moms at the park after school starts and house work I am going to go get patches like for Tims uniform but for the new ACU purse I made last night- looks awsome!! and has pockets all over it b/c I decided if I was going to caniblize a top I was using ALL the pockets instead of just the two patches go on

remember to good to yourself today - vits, protien, water and movement - all that stuff that will make and keep you healthy

Good Morning Danni & TMB,

I wish I could sew but I am just not that gifted.  

School starts today...wooo-hooo!  I have a pretty busy Friday planned.  I have another United Way Luncheon today to attend locally to discuss the upcoming parish events. After that I have a hair appointment at 2:30.  I was lucky enough to win tickets to a boxing event tonight so me and the BF will be attending that.  As far as the weekend, I plan on doing some late spring or early fall cleaning.  Have a happy Friday and have a great weekend everyone.

Faith I love sewing and have done some insanly detailed things but really prefer easy not to detialed projects - this was a fun afternoon project - will post pics on FB and try to get them here after I go get patches latter today

Thanks for starting the train Danni!  It's pretty easy making new friends in the military, isn't it.  Everyone is in the same boat, so to speak, and if you don't make friends, you are lonely!  I know, I was raised as an Air Force brat.  I'm glad you're liking the area.  There's lots to do there!

Well, today is the last for a week.  They approved my leave for next week, so I'm going to be at home working on my room.  Mom's handyman said he'd come out and see if he could find the leak under the house. He'll probably be here either Sunday or Monday.  I'm guessing Monday.  But I gotta find the under house access, and Therese thinks its in my closet.  Do you know how difficult it will be getting under my stuff to the floor of the closet?  Hope he's part mole!  LOL!  Not really, that's why I have to clean the room so I can get this stuff out of his way!

I'm also going to be working on usajobs.com to see if I can find another job.  I gotta get off this sinking ship.  I have NO prospects at the PS.  It took me 25 years to figure this one out!  You don't have to hit me on the head more than 3 or 4 times to get me to see something! LOL!!

Well, better get to the cold shower so I can get to the plant.  Spent half of the day in the stand by room yesterday.  Not looking forward to today except 3:30 pm, when I know I won't have to walk back in there for another week!!

GOOD MORNING! I'm so glad you are making friends already. I knew you would-you're so darn likeable!
Well after 3 days of hellish pain from the shot Monday at the doctors, I called. They had me come in. He said some people don't react well to it but its rare. I felt like telling him EVERYTHING wrong with me over the years is always the rare case scenario! I'm unique but not always in a good way. lol. He gave me a steriod shot instead and I'll go back in 3 weeks. It was numb most of yest evening so I was able to get 1.6 miles in with Bryan. However today it hurts alot. That's pretty normal for these shots-been getting them for years. It takes a few days to kick in.

Plans for this weekend- oh I can't wait! Tomorrow I'm headed out at 7 for San Antonio. I'm meeting a friend from HS that lives in Corpus and we're going to hit the town -Riverwalk and at some point find a place to get a pedicure because we both need one. Sunday-Tuesday is a conference I'm attending there. I'm hoping to get some sun at the pool in the late afternoon after the conference. I'll be at the Omni near Fiesta Texas. I LOVE staying at Omni's. Esp at the state rate!

sounds fun - after living in SA for 8 months a couple of yrs ago the only time I ever did the river walk was with Que, Gina, Charlene and crew when we went for an OH thing down there

Well feel like the Trainman this morning, woke up early from a work related dream so decided to go for the walk/jog. Took Snickers so that was different went from being pulled to have to sniff this spot. Hoping to make it a morning habit so have more time with Alissa at night.

morning work outs are addictive - I LOVE my morning work out time and am much better at making sure I get a good work out in that way
