Thursday WLS Express
Good morning all,
Thank you all for your prayers and kind words about Rikki. I took her and put her to rest yesterday afternoon. She is at peace. She was 14 1/2 and had lived a very long life for a ****er Spaniel. I got Rikki when she was 8 weeks old and just a little bitty thing. I had her groomed the first time at 12 weeks just to get her used to it. The groomer thought I was crazy, and we all know that's true. She wa**** by a car at 6 months old, that was a scarey time. She has a collapsed lung and went into shock. I guess the last 14 years can be considered bonus. I bred her twice and she had 5 puppies. She gave me lots of love over the years and I know she felt the love I gave her. She went deaf and had to learn sign language. When she didn't want to "hear" it, she learned to look the other way. Yes, she was a stubborn little girl, but she was Momma's girl. She will be missed.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a good day.
Hugs to you this morning - I know you are sad but ya know she's playing and enjoying life with no pain and can hear again!!!
Love ya girl!!

Got big plans for the weekend - Becky and Ms Em coming to my island paradise for the weekend - Liz might even pop in for a bit - I am so pumped. This has been a fabulous summer with all my TMB peeps visiting my island!
Still have to do some putting the guest room together but the maids come today so I have stuff out of the way until they sweep/mop/dust in there.
Don't forget to take your VITAMINS [Debra!] and eat your PROTEIN first and drink at least 64 oz of WATER and EXERCISE!!!!! Make a plan to be successful - I know you can do it!!!!

Good morning Train Riders! Gearing up for another busy day here. I've got a couple of meetings, and a project I really need some help to get moving on. Hopefully I can get someone to help me figure out how to pull the data I need off of some websites. Jeff is up and heading out to Quakecon. I'm bummed that I can't go this year, but getting paid is more important than playing on the computer right now. I won't see much of him for the next few days, but do plan on going over there on Saturday and wandering around.
Jeff has some magnets that he builds structures with, and last night he decided to build a globe that he put around one of the tennis balls that Leo likes playing with. Leo looked so funny trying to figure out how to dig through the magnets to get to his ball! It took him about 5 min of rolling, scratching and shoving his nose through the openings and he finally got it. It was hysterical watching him try to figure it out.
Went to the chiro yesterday, the good news is the sprain/strain has resolved itself. The other news is I do have a small tear in a disc that will take a little while to heal. Did some adjustments, decompression, stretching and massage, which all felt great and hopefully will help it heal. I've got some exercises to do at home that I'm going to start tonight.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning everyone - like Terry, I am already IN the office this morning. No working from the recliner for me today. It's Annual Development Plan review day with my "coach" who won't be my coach after Friday. Realigning of resources is always a joy. Just when you get to know someone, you get to know someone else. I'm employed a big plus in this economy.
It's Thursday and I can't tell you where the week went. I've lurked around here and not sure, but Monday Morning Weigh In may actually be the only post I've made all week. It seems like everyday there's been something going on to keep me off the board. How dare life get in my way? LOL
It was great to meet up with Kathy, Liz, Tawyna and Dee yesterday for some Starbucks and then we ended up having dinner at On The Border. Great time, good laughs and the best friends!
I supposed I will let Mr. King have some of my time Friday night as I have a girls night out with some non-WLS friends and others on Saturday night. He's still debating about going to set up the deer blind and feeders on Sunday. I'm thinking that might be a father / son trip and wifey can stay home and maybe, just maybe kill some dust bunnies.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Becky - you and Emm be safe and enjoy your mini-vacation.
Lynnette - The happiest of birthday's to you. Sorry I'm going to miss your shindig Saturday night, but I had already committed to the other party.
Michelle - I hope that someday you have a day where you feel well. I don't know how you deal with feeling like crap ALL the time.
Danni - so glad to hear you're somewhat settled in and making friends, but you can't start to leave us out ya know!
Liz - safe travels!! You taking Corbin? LMAO!!!
Everyone else that needs a shout out --- SHOUT!!
There are decisions and excuses - only you can choose which one to make!
