My doctor was WOWED yesterday because when I weighed in I officially had lost 5.6 pounds in two weeks
as of yesterday afternoon! I have a United Way function to attend in Sulphur today so no "official" work for me today. I get to have a free day away from the office. I have been trying to mentally prepare myself for the usual "spread" that they have laid out on the table. I am so determined to see 189.9 on my freaking scale. I am sooo close. Have a great day everyone. People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
I feel like I am settling in here - making friends and doing things - still a bit frantic feeling of must go and do to stay ok but that is alright
met up with several moms yesterday at the park by the kids school after dropping off K - had a friend and her little girl over, ran errands and had a good day - we are taking all the little kids - teen wants to stay home and going to the wild animal center this weekend

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GIRL LYNNETTE...THE BIG "50"...WHOHOO TO YOU! Wish I could make it Saturday, but it's Ben's last weekend at home before leaving for college and he was gone this past week. We still have to get his clothes packed for school too.
I have to go the high school today to work on transfer ARDs if needed. I actually had none yesterday, which was good because I didn't get out of my meeting until noon so I didn't get there until 1:30! My luck there will be 10 sp. ed. kids check in today...

It's finally here! My vacation, short as it is, will start at 11:30!!! Finally found the energy late last night to get clothes packed and ready to load in the car. We can't be tooo obvious, or Madeline will crawl INTO the suitcases and she won't move until we put her in the car. I have to stop by Target to get a BIGGER harness for her. Apparently her chest is a large, not a medium. Poor thing, she's getting a complex. LOL
Lynnette, love you honey and I sure wish I could be there to honor your special day. Please make it special!
