August Adventure Thursday

Things are finally returning to normal around here so it's time to get back on track.  I only gained 2.5 lbs on vacation so that's not too bad.  Yesterday morning I made 4 protein drinks and put them in the freezer but never had one.  I ended up leaving the house at 10 am and didn't get bac****il 3:30.  Yesterday was a carb fest early on- I had a soft pretzel for brunch, some LF popcorn trash for afternoon snack but dinner was one pork chop, carrots and corn.  Hailey was teasing me about having 2 veggies for dinner, that's just not me.  Scale was kind: down 1/2 pound.

Today's plan:
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: leftover steak, corn
Dinner: beef fajitas

My August Adventure is not going as well as I would like.  I continue to be very "snacky" in the evenings.  Last night I had a late night snack of dry Cheerios.  I've been feeling the need to eat something crunchy and salty.  I should probably just go buy a small bag of potato chips and get it over with.  I think I eat more stuff trying to avoid what I'm craving than I would if I just went ahead and ate it.

Today's plan -

Coffee
B - Greek yogurt with blueberries
S - More coffee
L - Grilled chicken breast with tomato and cucumber salad
S - Protein drink
D - Salad and 1 slice of pizza

Go out and make it a great day.
