August Adventure Thursday
Adventuring on through the month... mine wasn't nearly as carb filled yesterday; that's sure a good thing!
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
salad w/ meat & cheese for lunch
not sure for supper...maybe leftover crawfish pie
trail mix or fruit for snack

Good Morning Karla & Adventurers,
I am excited...as of yesterday evening at my follow up doctor's visit I had lost 5.6 pounds in two weeks. I weighed in at 193.6 in the afternoon fully dressed and I had eaten. This morning I weighed 192. I am too happy right now. I do have a United Way event to attend that will be tempting today but I must remeber that I am only 3 pounds shy of seeing a number that I haven't seen in almost 17 years. I do not have a plan for today other than to avoid the carbs on the spread that they will have on the table today. Have a good day!

I've been too busy lately. Lot's of stress and stuff going on. Looks like July -> Dec. 2009 will be filled with "change" for me this year. Working hard not find myself emotionally eat-ting, but as you guys know, that's easier said than done.

My plan for today and the weekend is to trying not to explode!!!
Still having the after 6 tummy issues. Feel like poo in the evening.. bloated, hard tummy, heart palpitations, no matter what i eat. So I don't eat much if anything at night.
But the scale.. that's another story. Up to my highest acceptable again at 160. I hate hate hate that.
I pray that I can enjoy this weekend and not obsess over the weight and food .
I will have to figure out something major when I get home on Monday.

Good morning all! I'm doing okay on my plan - could be better, could be worse. I forgot all my vitamins and supplements yesterday and didn't eat well - forgot to eat lunch and then ate too much later. Oh well - another day to get it right.
Been to the gym already this morning - another 14 min walk/run mile. Hoping to get that down to 12 min miles for my first 5k. Had a great weight session on upper body but could barely raise my arms to shower when I got home lol
Will be at school working all day and they are providing breakfast so we'll see about that. I had good food and snacks already in the fridge at work so I have good choices for rest of the day.
I need to try to get more liquid in today. That is my hardest thing when I'm back to work. I get so involved in work that I forget to drink.
Went to coffee with some great friends last night - those walls are crumbling, woot!
