The NIGH****CHMAN - Wednesday - 8/12
Good afternoon everyone. My boss left early so I was able to get on his computer early today.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Wonderful on my side of town. Mary is going to start painting the house tomorrow. Eddie will come over an help her. Me.... I will sleep. Life is wonderful.
Here's hoping Jill is okay.
Anonymous prayers for the friend of a TMBer, who is very troubled at this time. I have been in touch with the TMBer and prayers are still needed.
Prayer requests are listed below.
Also, please feel free to just visit here. Tell us about how your day went. Your successes. Your failures. Your fun. Whatever. When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.
Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
I've had a much more productive day than yesterday. I got up this morning and found 10 new jobs to apply for. Mostly marketing manager/director type positions. I found that American Insitute of Gastric Banding is also looking for a MarComm Director in addition to the VP of Marketing position I'd applied for last week, so I applied for that. The others were across the spectrum of industries.
After I finished that, I cleaned out the drawers in the three end tables in the family room and the three drawers in the kitchen that tend to become "junk drawers". I didn't find any great treasures of financial value, but I did find a file folder with a lot of pictures of my dad growing up. I'll scan those tomorrow.
Also since it's been a few months since I've flown anywhere, I started pulling together my stuff that I usually like to have with me - headphones, camera, extra batteries, etc. so I won't be rushing around later in the week.
Please add Annette (AKC Crazy) to the prayer list tonight. She had to put her dog to sleep today and could use some healing prayers for her grief.
I'll be around until probably midnight. Have a wonderful evening.
Prayers for all who need them.

If I were lying, wouldn't my pants be on fire?!?
Hi, George!
No updates on Elizabeth since August 9th. I think that's a sign that things aren't going well. :-(
Please make a note to increase prayer for my family. We need A LOT of prayer right now. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you to all who pray daily for all of the TMB's needs.
Love to all,
Vanessa
I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side. The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

Nope, I'm home now. Spent a while at the hospital. Ruptured ovarian cyst and the sucker was big enough that it was detected on CT! Radiologist told my doc it was definitely a biggy with the amount of fluid it left behind. Pain meds and a heating pad if I wanted to (I hate them though...too hot!!!)
Thanks for checkin' on me!!!
Been worried about you

When I was born, I cried and the world rejoiced. Now i wanna live my life so that when I die, the world cries and I rejoice
Came home and just layed on the bed for a couple hours. Paul told the girls all laundry is on hold unless they do it themselves. Luckily for them, I had just finished all their stuff yesterday. They do seperate out colors before bringing it to me but I've had them do it before...I swear, they EAT laundry soap. Use WAAAAY too much, even when I show them what line to use. Soooo, I just told them they had to bring it down and have it seperated and I'll start it.
As long as the pain continues to decline, then all is good!
