My 8 month surgery update...

I went shopping yesterday - I was beyond elated when I was able to wear (drum roll please....)

a SIZE 10!!! and a MEDIUM SHIRT!!!

HOLY COW! I started off at a 22 and now a 10?!?!?!?!? I cant believe the ride.  You all told me that it would be one heck of a ride, and I can't even describe the feelings I have.  I haven't taken my measurements this month, but I am just in aww of what I have been able to do.  I like to shop now, I dont dread it.  I can walk into a shop that I normally wouldn't before and pick something off the rack (like my size 10 pants I have on RIGHT NOW!).  It brings tears to my eyes because of it all.

Congratulations!!!  Isn't it a wonderful feeling.  Just hang on it isn't over yet!!!  It only gets better.  I am so happy for you.

Yeah, good for you Trish. I'm six days out and kind of gloomy, so thanks for the inspiration. I can't wait to be able to post some good news like that someday soon.

Size 10 seems to be such a magic number for most of us.  Single digits are just around the corner.  Awesome job...now let's get a new avatar to show off that skinny face.
