time release meds

ok I have been on the same antidepressant for quite a while now - the military pharmacy carrys it but not in the time release that I have been on - I would go from 3 pills one time a day to 1 pill 3 times a day (honestly more like 1 in the am and 2 in the evening when I remember them)

now with my bypass I was told time release meds did not work as well - so this could work better - and save me a butt load of money since they are non forumulary - or it could not work and screw me up right before Tim leaves - I have enough of the time release ones to make it about 2 1/2 months so that would get me though him coming home and leaving again

suggestions? please
Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

Hi honey...  I am bipolar and I am also seen at a military facility.

Please go to my profile and print out the chart that I have listed of what anti-depressants and such that work best before surgery and after RNY surgery.  Print the chart out and take it with you to your next appt so that you & your doc can discuss what will work best now for you.

It helped me a great deal!!

take care,
Dawn
