How was your weekend?  I know mine was okay...lots of eating away from the house is always challenging and I sure didn't stick to the straight and narrow nor get any exercise because of being really busy.  I did maintain, so I guess that's fine.

My plan for today:  probably another challenging one, because I will eat lunch out w/ co workers I imagine since it's the first day back and then have my niece's birthday dinner this evening.

Lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks....these 2 things I can control, so I will!

don't know for lunch...hopefully protein filled
lasagna for dinner, but sis was making a pan of just meat/sauce for both of us and one other lady who can't eat regular pasta due to allergies, but probably a little bread and fruit pizza...don't know what else

What's your plan?  Wish I was eating seafood w/ Steph, but did have Kung Pao shrimp yesterday that was so good.

Morning Karla, I wish you were here eating seafood with me too!!  I had fried shrimp again last night but this time it didn't make me deathly ill.  I ordered shrimp and coldslaw and skipped the french fries to lessen the impact a little.  Breakast yesterday was Waffle House for eggs, toast and hashbrowns (only ate 1/2 the HB if that counts), lunch was nibbles of junk on the beach-nuts and candy.  Does playing in the surf count as exercise?  I hope so!!

No food plans for today, probably my favorite pizza place for dinner.  Yup, I'm thinking next week I'm gonna be regretting all these choices, lol.  So far the clothes still fit!!

Don't worry about what you eat so much on a vacation.  If you ate that a lot or every meal, then worry!  I know you don't...I don't do many FF, mostly because they don't taste so good to me anymore.  I can eat fried shrimp fine...like you though, don't do it very often.  I love Waffle House for breakfast...cheap and great hb and bacon!

playing in the surf definitely counts for exercise...it's moving!

 Hi Karla,

I had a good weekend although I did not feel good all weekend long.   In fact yesterday I started feeling really bad and even threw up last night ( hate doing that ).  Made good food choices....have no idea what my weight has done today.  LOL   Woke up at 3 AM and made coffee so I forgot and drank some before I weighted so that will have to wait till later on today.   LOL  Plan on making good choices and getting back into the swing of things.   Went to my surgeon's exercise class that they do for their patients 3 times a week.   It was almost too much and really kicked my butt !!!   I guess I have really gotten out of shape since I had not been to the gym in months.    It was really hard and I have been extremely sore all weekend long.   I do plan on going to that again tonight.   LOL   I guess I am a sucker for punishment.   LOL   Anyway you have a wonderful day.

Hugs  and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Good Morning Karla & TMB!

I am happy to report that I did very well with the exception of 3-4 bites of mashed potatoes at Applebee's yesterday.  It has been sooo hot and I refuse to walk in the heat.  Walking is my favorite form of exercise and I know I need to start soon.

Today's plan:
B-Coffee and eggs/sausage
L-Salad
D-Salad with some type of meat
Water-80 ounces

I had a great workout at the gym this morning.  I'm increasing my run time in my walk/run workout so I'm ready to do some 5k's this fall.  I'm also very glad to be cleared to lift weights again.  I really had missed that.  The muscles make me feel better, even though they are hidden under all the skin lol.

Vitamins and supplements in my purse and ready for the day.  Snacks and water packed and ready.  We are having a new teacher luncheon at work today and I have no idea what they are serving.  I'm taking some greek yogurt and fruit just in case.

Making progress on the friends and walls thing . . .one day at a time.

Have a great day all!

I didn't have the best weekend food wise.  I did okay on Saturday.  I didn't have time for breakfast before church on Sunday morning, so we had a late breakfast after.  Then skipped lunch and went to the movies.  Ate child size bag of popcorn followed by a stop at SBX for a lite moccachino.  Came home and hubby grilled baby backs for dinner.  I sauteed corn, zucchini, garlic and basil to go with the ribs.

I have noticed that I have a lot of trouble getting my water down on Sundays.  By the time I get home from church its 10:30 or 11:00 and I have not had any water.  I feel behind then and I have a hard time catching up.  But I can't drink a lot of water before church then sit through church without going to the ladies room.  I'm going to have to come up with a better plan for water on Sundays.

I got up this morning and started my laundry.  I haven't had any coffee yet.  Somehow I got my routine all out of order this morning.  Can't have my coffee for 10 more minutes.

B - Greek yogurt, blueberries, granola
S - Coffee (soon please)
L - Ham, cheese & crackers
S - Protein drink
D - Cuban Fried Rice

Water, Crystal Lite and more water.
