Good evening all.  Nice relaxing day, though it was not intended to be.  Our lawn mower broke, so the lawn did not get mowed.

Today was Brad's birthday, so we told him we would take him and the family out to lunch.  He chose Sherlock's.  Had a pleasant meal.  Enjoyed the company immensely.

Anonymous prayers for the friend of a TMBer, who is very troubled at this time.  I have been in touch with the TMBer and prayers are still needed.

Prayer requests are listed below.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Hi George;

It's been a very relaxing weekend here. Friday, I finished everfything on my list by 1:30pm, so I had a relaxing afternoon and then the radio show. It was good to be on the air after a couple weeks off.

Saturday, I slept in and went to my luncheon. I ate something there that sent my blood sugar spiraling out of control. By the time I got home, I was in a full sugar crash and shaking. I ate some string cheese and some Cheez-It crackers and because I was so focused on getting my sugar back to where it needed to be, I ate to much and was stuffed. We were going to the neighbor's house for a birthday/poker party at 6, so I dragged myself to the grocery to get the stuff to make a cheese dip, but when we got home, I had to lie down. I fell asleep. Michael woke me up at 6:15 and I still wasn't feeling myself. I told him to go to the party and I'd come over later. I finally made it over at 8pm. We played poker until just after midnight.

Today, we were up early, and went up to Krause Springs to meet some friends for a day of floating in the springs. With the exception of the ants and the snakes, it was great. I've got ant bites all over my feet and they itch like crazy. It was worth it though. Good day with good friends. We got home around 6pm and I've been clearing stuff off of the DVR tonight. I just can't seem to get ahead of it these days.

Next weekend is my 20th high school reunion. Last Thursday, my best friend growing up called me and told me if I could get up there, her husband said I could have his ticket for free. Since that call, everyone has been telling me I should go. I checked tonight and I can use one of my frequent flyer tickets to get there either Friday night or Saturday early afternoon and arrive back in San Antonio on Monday mid-day. I had bought my dress back in January, so really my only out of pocket cost would be car rental. I've got to call Kim in the morning to make sure the offer still stands and if it does, I'll book my travel immediately. I'm very nervous about going without Michael and spending the money not having a job, but I really do want to go.

That's all for me tonight. I'm tired from being out in the sun all day so I probably won't be around for long. Have a good evening. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

You deserve it.  Go.  Have as much fun as possible, without Micheal there.

Were you a big girl in high school?  Are there a lot of people that are going to be there that have not seen you since the weight loss?  Just curious.

Not really. I was 112 lbs. my freshman year and 172 (size 12/14) the day I graduated. At the 10 year reunion, I was pushing 200. Other than Kim, and the people from HS on my Facebook, no one has seen me since the 10 year. There's about 95 people attending out of 174 that graduated in my class.

if you havent scratched the skin off your feet yet, pour rubbing alcohol on them to get the poisen out of the ant bites - thats what is itching you so bad. After that, rub benadryl cream into them, should help a lot

Evening George,

It has been an awesome weekend for me, I'm sorry it is coming to a close...  It has been filled with great friends and great times.  Glad I got to visit with you and Mary at the dinner last night, am looking forward to the next get together.

Took DD to do a little back to school shopping of Friday, wonderful dinner Saturday evening, thank you again Charlene for all that you do!  Spent time this afternoon and evening with more great friends, DD and I had a wonderful time!

Jennifer, enjoy your class reunion, smile and show off that skinny, sexy you!  You have definitely rocked your tool, and look awesome!  I went to my 10 yr, same bunch of butts I graduated with, no way I was going to 32th this last year!  Gasp, I just dated myself...  lol, I'll be 51 in November, with a 13 year old to boot!

Prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests.  Special prayers of healing, grace and mercy for Elizabeth Grace and her family.  May God's will be done in this precious child's life.

Blessings to all,
Avis

Avis;

I just booked my ticket to fly home Saturday morning and back to San Antonio on Monday. This is the most spontaneous and selfish thing I've done in 4 months, so I'm freaking out at the moment, but I'm also really excited.
Blessings, Jennifer
