Happy real birthday Alissa!  Have fun at the circus today.

I have to get ready soon for early church at 9:00 a.m.  After that my sister and mom and nephew's gf that graduated from SHSU yesterday will head to The Woodlands to meet my SIL and 2 nieces.  We're eating at PF Changs and then shopping for a couple of hours.  We have to bring my sister's youngest daughter back home she's been in Destin this past week with my brothers family.  We're shopping for the graduate because she starts her new job tomorrow and knows she can't wear her Daisy dukes and other shirts/Tshirts and tank tops she has in the business world.  We're taking her to Ann Taylor Loft and wherever else she wants to try to catch some sales.

Prayers for Mercy Me and Meggie and Lynnette and all others who need them.

I guess Ben's okay at Fish Camp...haven't heard from him.  Survived the night by myself after grad party.  It was at the most fabulous ranch way outside town that was built for BBQ's and parties.  Beautiful pool, 15 by 15 sunken outdoor kitchen, probably over 1000 sq. foot covered outdoor area, concrete floors in house...just incredible and the view on top of a hill onto pastures and a beatiful sunset was just gorgeous.  We were all jealous!

Holy crap Phyllis is driving???  Hope you can swing by Galveston and pick me up.  Woke up to a little rain this morning but it looks like it's gonna pass.  Plan a day at the beach today with Terry. 

Yesterday we went to the beach where we got stuck in the sand (not once but twice) and had to get pulled out.  Then Clay went swimming with his cell phone (duh??) so it's sitting in a bag of rice trying to dry.  Last night we went to the greyhound dog races where Terry joined us.  Clay won enough to cover all our bets, dinner and drinks so it was a great "free" night.

Sounds like everyone had a great night last night at the party.  Post some pictures people!!  I want to see.

I really have been missing everyone but have been in a weird place. I think I need my anti depressants adjusted. Yesterday I took one in the morning and one in the evening. I feel much better today but didn't sleep very well last night..
I know.. all you nurses out there. I won't do that again on my own. I just sort of wondered if it would make a difference. :)
I feel more like getting the things done today than I have felt in a while. SO....... I love you all, sorry I am a whiney butt and was afraid to get out and drive myself to the dinner last night. My husband is out of town and if there were only two wait persons, he wouldn't have been any fun anyway. :) Probably just need to find someone in my area that I can start going to these events with. Ok well, my computer time is up I have to get busy on my house and get stuff done.

I was going to sleep in this morning, but the cats woke me up at 7 for their breakfast. My plan today is to get a little futher in cleaning my room (I've been going a little at a time) so that, when I get home from the hospital, the only things I have to worry about tripping over are the cats.  I also need to stock up on kitty food for them and a few other things for me, because I know I'm not going to feel like going shopping that first week.

I'm trying to be very quiet this morning (what's left of it!).  King said WE were going to clean house when he gets up, so I'm letting him sleep.  WE cleaning house usually translates to ME cleaning and HIM showing me the spots that got missed!  How two adults can make such a mess is beyond me - I guess because we stay on the go all the time, it's in the front door, drop off crap and out the back door and the crap just piles up!

Sounds like everyone had a great time at dinner and the after party.  I sure was wishing I was there.  I've missed the last two now - next time I sure hope I can make it.

Seriously starting "house shopping" so if you live on the outer loop of the 635 side of Dallas and see a nice house for sale WITH A POOL, reasonably priced and in good market condition, shoot me a PM.  Nothing huge or fancy, just "nice" WITH A POOL ... LOL  Not moving into anything unless it comes WITH A POOL!

I missed the morning train-so I guess the afternoon route for me.
Actually I am going to go back to bed and then  go exercise.
Our daughter guilt-ed us into a garage sale to get rid of
stuff-after 28 years in this house and 4 kids-which are in their
own places now-we have junk to get rid of. I think we just need
to rent a dumpster and gut the place.
The final tally was $365 and I told my daughter
just think how much money we spent to give
away $365 garage sale priced stuff. Should
have listen to Dave Ramsey financial person earlier.
My incision from the last round of "trying to get rid of
infection" is doing much better, This may actually heal and
I can have my hernia repaired. I was aiming at the end of the
year as my max. for insurance has been met.
I do love my RNY and Dr, Castro. I am so grateful.
