I am usually always up early but I have never started the train. I like to hop on once it has already started. School starts Friday. The last thing that I have left to buy is my son's shoes. So we are going to leave at around 11 today to head to the mall/stores. Have a great day everyone.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
Good morning all!! I have SO much to get accomplished this monring, and here I sit..on the flat part of my butt..right here, in front of this computer screen. I DO have clothes in the dryer and a bunch of crap laid out on the bed behind me, WAITING to be put in the suitcase. Hey, I still have a few hours. They don't call me "The Procrastination Queen" for nothing-it's a title WELL earned. I don't have to be at the airport until 2pm...plane isn't scheduled to depart till nearly 5...yea-you know me-GOTTA me early, despite my procrastination doing STUFF!!
GREAT time last night..sure missed the ones not able to be there-it always leaves a void-you know who you are.
If you get a chance, go to the main board and see Bo McCoy's post (top of the page) about Kirk "Crow" Thompson's death. Crow was an OH icon, back in the day, and a good friend of mine/fabulous support system, back "when there wasn't any". He kinda "lost his way" a few years back-as could happen to any of us-and it breaks my heart that it ended for him this way.
Maybe this link will work:

I'm packing the laptop..no idea if will ever get around to USING it..lol
Prayers all around-HE knows where to distribute them.
I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

We had a great time last night. The restaurant was great- tons of options. Sure it was a little hectic but overall I think they did well considering our big group for 2 wait staff. THANKS Charlene for all your hard work! And, thanks Jon and Loralea for the after party. That was alot of fun as well!
I hope everyone has a great day today!!!
found a neat place outside of savannah that is a wildlife center on an island - REALLY neat - we saw buffulo and RAchel screammed "dog" at the top of her lungs at them LOL ok so we have had and known some really big dogs - she also called the armadillos cats. we also saw up close wolves, fox, bald eagles, owls, turtles and who knows what else oh and a "georgia farm" complete with wondering turkeys, fighting geese, goats, sheep and cow- it was a blast - rach let me wear her for most of it, when she wanted down we let her walk -then she decided she did not need to have her hand held -well she biffed it good, tumbled and rolled a couple of times - looks a bit beat up today -she skinnned her cheeck - we checked out some of the surrounding area - plan to go back adn camp in the area for Ks bday in Sept with Tim, and then go back though the wildlife center - with bug spray on this time -
today we are going to go check out a local church and see what we think- other than that planning a mellow day - getting the laundry and upsitars floors done - have a pot of stew cooking and a pork roast baking -
have a great day = get ready for the week ahead
peace

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
But, I've taken on a new challenge that I'm really excited about. Plus, it means I may get to see some of y'all soon. I've joined a team and started training for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day. Yep, all 60 miles of it. Woo!
That's all for now. I'm wiped out. Tracey is out of town this weekend. I need to go get the house tidied up, so I can relax with his this evening. First, a shower & lots of coffee.
I've missed y'all.
Love,
Maida
