I feel like I'm my own worst enemy

I had RNY in October 2008 and have lost 120 pounds.  Now I find myself at a plateau and am not losing anymore.  I've never had any trouble with foods getting stuck or bothering me.  I wonder have I stretched my pouch?  I can eat almost anything with no trouble and am so fearful of gaining the weight back.  I've started having heartburn again too.  Need advise? Thanks

What surgery did you have?  120 lbs since Oct is really amazing, how much more do you want to lose?

Focus on dense protein and good carbs, lots of water, change up your exercise, etc.  Plateaus are normal.

I had the Lap RNY in October 2008.  I want to lose maybe 50 more pounds, that would make me 150.  Thanks for the advise........I don't attend a support meeting because they are so far away and  I think I do need the support and advise of others who have walked this road before.

You can do this.....keep doing what you need to do.  The less you need to lose the slower it goes, believe it!

Go back to the beginning...are you measuring everything?  Use little plates.  Use baby spoons.  Drink lots of water.  Protein first.  Take your vitamins!

My last 20 pounds took over 6 months.  Just don't stop following the rules of the pouch.  It will work if you just let it.

Stalls happen.  You have done a great job so far, so don't beat yourself up. Loosing the last 50 pounds is harder than the first, but you can do it. You still have the tool, and even if you have stretched it out some, it can still work for you.  Be careful about what you eat.  It may help to keep a food diary for a while, then show it to your nut and see what they suggest.  I've heard of alot of people starting thier post-op diet over when they get to a stall.  It may also help to measure your food so you don't eat too much at one time.  Make sure you aren't drinking with meals, but get your 64 oz in each day.  Also, make sure you do eat breakfast, even if it is just a protien drink.  Good luck.
