Elizabeth is now in surgery at Le Bonheur Hospital.   The neurosurgeon will remove the right frontal lobe of her brain.  We just received an update from the OR to advise that the procedure began at 12:30, and should take about 2 hours, give or take.  Her vitals are good at present.  Please continue to say the Novena, and keep believing.  Will update once we know more.  God bless Elizabeth Grace.

The Doctor just came in, and the surgery went as well as it possibly could have.  There was very little bleeding, and she did not have to put in a monitor or a drain.  From what she saw, she believes this is aespergillus.  The infection was deeper than she could get to, but the risk of paralyzing Elizabeth was greater.      Biopsies have been sent off.  Elizabeth should be back in ICU soon, and the family will be able to visit with her.  We are very grateful to be here right now, and thankful for what they did for her this morning.  Will update more later.
    PRAY without ceasing.

  • Elizabeth remains stable tonight in the ICU @ Le Bonheur.   She is still on the ventilator, but is on low settings and is breathing over the vent.   The plan is to do a CT scan in the morning, and possibly move back to St. Jude's.  We have doubled her dose of Zoriconazole in much prayerful hope that it will kill this fungus.  Prayers to keep Elizabeth's kidneys and liver functioining well are needed.  Thanking GOD for getting her through another day, and BELIEVING IN HIM.  Elizabeth will be completely healed here on earth.  Much love for everyone's prayers and support today.

    Keep praying, keep believing.

I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side.  The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

I have been following this "since the very begining" Just want to send prayers for YOU and ur friends who are all going through this.

Take it easy.

Hugs,

U tell me that I sin,
U say Im bound for hell,
So once ur judgment condemns U,
I SHALL SEE U THERE.

I'd rather be an OPEN sinner
