Good evening all.  Another glorious day!  Tonight will be Big Brother night.  I activated my TV back on my phone so I can watch it.

I've got a long night ahead of me.  Working both job, then an employee meeting at which I am being recognized for being there 10 years.  I get off work at 6:15, the meeting is 8:30.  May take a nap in the car.  So what if I look sleepy at the meeting when they take my picture.

Rangers are winning their game right now.

Not much else here.

Anonymous prayers for the friend of a TMBer, who is very troubled at this time.

Prayer requests are listed below.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Hi George;

I've been uber-lazy today. I got up this morning, did my job search thing, got caught up on my email from being gone yesterday, reviewed Avis's resume and cover letter, helped set up for Saturday's luncheon, paid bills, went to the doctor, did 3 loads of laundry and went grocery shopping. That's it. No gym. No Goodwill. No packing.

Honestly, I've nearly run out of things to pack. As long as we're living here, we're getting down to the bare minimum. If I knew for sure we were moving before Thanksgiving, I'd pack up my cold weather clothes, but I don't, so I can't.

Tomorrow, I need to go to World Market for more Torani SF coconut syrup, Goodwill to donate more stuff, 1/2 Price Books to sell some old DVDs, gym (I really need to get back in the zone!), and the post office to ship some stuff to our friends in Alaska that they can't get where they're stationed in Valdez. I think that's all that's on tomorrow's agenda.

I'll be around for a while tonight. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

Even a lazy day for you is productive.  Not only with the stuff you did, but also the plans you are making for tomorrow.

I've got to stop complementing you, Mikey is going to think something is going on.  LOL

Good Evening All,

Jennifer, thank you again for looking at my resume and cover letter, it is much appreciated!  Going to try your less wordy cover letter tomorrow for a position I found tonight.

Nothing new in my world, other than my baby girl is back home with me.  I should be used to this every other week thing after 10 years, but I still miss her when she's not here.

George, congrats on getting recongized for your 10 years of service, thow some ice cold water on your face before you go to the meeting, that should wake you up. :)

Prayers for all of the spoken and unspoken requests, special prayers for Elizabeth Grace and her family.

Blessings to all.

Hey big bro...
Congrats on the 10 yrs!

It was a busy day at my house, but not for myself and Sarah.  The two older girls were on the go ALLLL day long!  They had "fish camp" for the incoming freshman today at the high school.  Of course that was for V - but Heather ended up being an upper classman peer mentor for fish camp so that was a lot of fun for her.  She really liked doing that so will probaby do it her Sr. year as well.  The "camp" was from 9-1:45, but Heather had to be there an hour early.  I took them both at 8:00 and just told V to sit there and behave herself for that hour.  I picked them up at 2:00, then raced the both of them off to tennis clinics at the club, in that horrible heat!  UGH!  We had paid for 7 sessions (it was a package deal) so used four before we went up to IL and need to do the remaining three before the last day which is the 20th.  Problem though is the advanced class that they are in only meets on Mon/Wed/Thu from 2:30 until 5:00.  The both of them also have high school practice on Mon/Wed from 6:00 until 8:00 pm so in this horrible heat, I wouldn't dare have them go play for 2.5 hours, then go to the high school an hour later for two more hours, especially when starting on Monday, the matches determine where they are ranked - either JV or Varsity.  We got one lesson in today so will do next Thursday as well.  As long as there is no rain, I may have them go on Monday the 17th for their last one as the high school coach has already told us all there is no practice on that day due to some mandatory meeting he has to attend.  So, we'll have Monday the 17th or Thurs the 20th of that week to get that last one in.  After they came home, Heather jumped in the shower while I fixed dinner (did all my prep work earlier in the day so all I had to do was cook on the stove), she ate in the car while I took her back to the high school to be there an hour before the fish camp dance which was from 7-10 pm.  Paul got home before I got back so offered to take V back to the school for the dance while I finished dinner.  He was no dummy - he wanted NO part of the cooking aspect, only the eating!    I picked both older girls up at 10:00 and they were both in bed and sleeping by about 10:30 at the latest!  Heather has a make-up driver's ed class to go to tomorrow morning which will be her second make-up class with only one to go.  She has missed three because of us heading up to IL but the teacher had told me already that she just had to come back for those three classes and then that fulfilled the classroom part.  She'll do the last one Saturday morning before we go take a peek at the new pup!  AUGH, the crazy schedules have ALREADY started!!!

I just wanna sleep in like I did up home....

How can you say it wasn't a busy day for you?  You had to do the running around.  Give yourself some credit.

Having a rough night tonight, but I will survive.  Problems with some reps.  Grrrrr.
