I have a Walmart digital Scale called the health-o-meter. I purchased it about 2 years ago because it came with a free Denise Austin (LOVE HER) work out video. Cool, right? Well, the problem is that I get on the scale and it might say 202 (WAHOO!!!!!!) and then I think, hmm, that seems really low. So I get on it again (sometimes it is not an obsessive thing to get on again, but I am assessing the accuracy of my scale)... I do not do anything different, the scale stays in the same spot, and I get on it and BAM! It is 211. Then I think, holy crap, something is wrong, it is now 9lbs off from the first reading! I step on again and it is 206. WHAT? So needless to say, I ditched the scale and bought a plain jane scale. That darn scale never stays right on "O", so I have to keep adjusting it, and it is always 5lbs off from my digital scale.
What is the point of my ramblings??? What scale do you use? (Yeah, I know, a bunch of you don't own one and I bow down before you, LOL). I HAVE to have one at this point- it keeps me in check. But I was hoping that someone out there has a great scale and could tell me what it is because I will gladly go buy it TONIGHT!

The best scale I have ever found (and I am a scale ho!) is Tanita.  I had 2 of them and gave one to my Dad.  Why did I buy another one?  Because the older one I had would only read to the nearest 0.4 pound and the newer one read to 0.2 pounds.  I have had my Tanita at least 5 or 6 years and it is very accurate AND repeatable.

You need to find a hard floor to set it on.  You can't set it on carpet.  I have an old vinyl floor in my bathroom and it works fine.  I weigh myself every morning.

The Tanita scales aren't cheap.  Good luck!

I have a set of the old timey 'doctors' scales with the balance beam thing. It's very accurate if you take the time to tweak it until it's absolutely balanced. I don't need to get technical enough for 10ths...the closest half lbs is good enough for my weekly weigh in. I broke myself of the daily scale habit a couple of years ago.

Thanks! I will look for it. I woke up this morning and my digital scale said 201.3, and although I wanted to SCREAM, I knew it might not be true...so I closed my eyes and tried again...
210.4, then 207.8, then 209.2, OMG!!! What DO I WEIGH?? LOL.
Im going to find a Tonita ASAP!!! I can't take this craziness anymore. I always weigh in the same spot on the hard floor in my bathroom in a level spot. I even weigh naked everyday so I can assure myself that I am as acurate as I can get. It is this scale!! After I googled it, other people had the same problem with this scale.
Thanks for your help!!!

Tanita, girl!  Mine is digital and also does BMI, fat %, bone mass.  Very cool.  And totally accurate.

Mine's a Health O Meter by Sunbeam.  Bought it at Kohl's for around $30-$35.  It works great.  Also measures to 0.2 lbs and does body fat, etc (I don't use that function but it's there).  I've had it for almost 2 years.

***Well crap, I just realized yours and mine are the SAME!!!  I wonder why mine works great and yours doesn't.  Maybe different model numbers?  Never mind...ignore my advise, lol!!

I have the same scale and I have not had any problems with it.  I took it with me to my surgeon and PCP so I could see the difference in my weight immediately.  It actually weighs me heavier than the surgeon by 1 pound and by .8 pound at the PCP. So when I weigh at home, I usually just go ahead and deduct 1 pound from whatever the scale says.
