Yes, it will be a Terrific Thursday.  Yes, it will be a Terrific Thursday. Yes, it will be a Terrific Thursday.  Hopefully, I've said it enough it will be!

We are closing on our old family house today and my youngest sister is probably going to have a meltdown at the closing.  She has fought me for 18 months on selling the house because it is "home".  No, it was "home" when we were kids.  Now, it's a 50 year old house that's falling apart and is a money pit.  My money tree died and I refuse to put another dime into it.  So, the big sister has spoken, found a buyer and taken care of everything except the signatures at the title company.  Just knowing that I won't have to worry about that house anymore, its taxes, insurance and all that goes along with it will make it a Terrific Thursday for me!

It took him 24 hours, but King has finally come around to the new haircut - Paige, don't be skeered - just go for it!  I'm glad I did.  Need to upload a new avatar here with the new do.  In fact, I need to take some pictures, period.  I was looking and I didn't take 11 month or 1 year pics.  What's up with that?  I was so religious about taking them every month.

Although I had dreaded the training class yesterday, it ended up being a good time.  At the end of the day, we had a team building exercise that actually did something.  We (I'm guessing about 100 people) built 60 bicycles in 60 minutes that were donated to the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center for children that have been physically or sexually abused and placed in foster care.  The experience left us all feeling accomplished and proud to have been able to help out some kiddos that have been through some terrible times and horrible situations.

Working from home today - need to get developmental plan nailed down for the year and off to my "coach" for review and feedback.  Check out the open opportunities and see if I can get back on the road.  I thought I'd be working from home tomorrow, but there's a meeting I have to attend in the office and it's Promotions Day and apparently they celebrate that because the office moves to House of Blues from 2-5pm for the promotions announcement party! LOL  AND we get paid for it ... LOL

Not sure what the weekend holds, other than working at the racetrack on Saturday night.  Really jealous of those enjoying the sun and surf this weekend!  I've got to get a real vacation planned for King and myself but we're having a hard time deciding what we want to do this year.  He really can't take off until November because of their project schedule, especially after losing most of last week to rain. 

Wow, that turned into a novel .... have a TERRIFIC THURSDAY 'cuz Danni said so!

Thursday's are always terrific cuz they are date night.  Actually, tonight isn't because we are having it tomorrow instead.  So today will be date night with Dad instead.

Good morning.  I didn't sleep well the first few hours last night, so slept in until almost 7:30 this morning.  I need to get myself in high gear and get dressed and get to the park for a walk again this morning.  I enjoyed my walk a lot yesterday.  I forgot how good it feels to do that!

Working on 3 Aggie purses today.  I decided mass production was probably quicker than one at a time.  I got my dog's collar done and even put his wireless fence receiver on it.  I didn't get as far on the purses as I would have liked.  I made my dog a facebook page and spent time uploading pics to it.  Last night he already had 11 friends!  I did it for fun because my neighbor had one for her cat and Ben and I were friends w/ it.  He looks really cute in his avatar.  If there's any crazy folks like me...check it out on FB...he's Limo Lewis!

Make good choices, get some exercise today, and be accountable on August Adventure.

I got up this morning and hit snooze and went back to sleep again for a while. So I had to get hopping this morning and have been busy ever since.
Saw the doc last night, he put me on prednisone and will be doing a referral to a foot doc in Keller that he reccommended. Hopefully I won't get too *****y on the steriods-they make me very moody. And for you smart-alecs, I'll say it first- "how will we know any different?" haha. I don't want to bite someone's head off at the dinner Sat or on my birthday. Esp since my wonderful hubby is taking me to the circus. I'll just have to keep positive peaceful thoughts in my head!

Deb-sorry about your back-hope the rest heals it right up. Visualize your body healing itself. That's what I'm trying to do with my foot pain because Tylenol doesn't work. Advil does but I dont' want to take too much. Hope you're back in full swing soon!

To the walking crew Sat morning- we're planning on coming, depending on how my foot is feeling. Hopefully with the parrafin hot wax and the steriods the swelling will go down soon.

Danni-hope the schedule gets straightened out and that the boys enjoy school.

Gotta get back to work before driving to Irving and back. I've had to drive alot this week which isn't helping the foot at all. The rental car I have right now (getting hail damage fixed on car finally) doesn't have cruise control so the car company is looking for one for me. Hope they get that soon!
