August Adventure Wednesday
Here we are smack dab into our adventure...let's make it a successful one!
Faith...that is one smokin' hot beau! Hope we get to meet him in Sept. at the conference.
Everyone seems to be doing well sticking to there protein fests except me...I know I'll be able to be much stricter going back to work next week. I've maintained, so that's fine. I'm going walking at the park after while. I have to go to Walmart, so might as well make myself.
Today's plan:
lots of liquids, at least 2 protein drinks, salad w/ smoked turkey and cheese for lunch, taco casserole for dinner, fruit snack or small piece of chicken enchilada quiche
What's your plan for your adventure?
Karla
I am visiting a new gym this morning. My current one upset me yesterday and I'm just not happy there. Hopefully this new one will be great and I can get settled into it by Monday when I'm back at work. Even with the problems, I've worked out twice already this week so I'm still on plan.
Have had 3 days of getting all vitamins/supplements in and relatively on time lol
I've been doing well getting my eating back on track. Staying away from carbs and focusing on proteins. I need to do some cooking this weekend and get it all in individual containers for the week. That seems to work best for me, especially when I'm working. Then I can just grab and go!
I'm still chiseling the bricks in my wall down. Slowly I'm starting to open up more with all these wonderful people around me and hopefully I can allow myself to move into some deeper friendships.
Enjoy today everyone!
Thanks Karla! I am doing well so far during this adventure. My plan for today is...
B-coffee, sausage
L-eggs
D-pork chop and salad
Water-64 ounces
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
Here is my yesterday, today will be very similiar. Can you tell I am NOT very good at variety, lol. I may need to up the calories some, I still haven't figured out what that number should be. One thing I do know though is without carbs and just protein for the most part, my surgery works. It amazes me how an egg or a drumstick fill me up.

I did really good yesterday and the scale reflects it. On Sunday I was 159 and this morning I'm 156. Yesterday I had a protein drink for breakfast, protein bar for lunch and hamburger patty with corn on the cob for dinner. Snack was 1 cup of low fat trash mix. That's all so my quantity was very good for me-you KNOW how much I CAN eat.
Today's plan:
Breakfast-protein drink
Lunch: small sandwich-ham and provalone, radishes
Dinner: Chicken parmesan (homemade)
Snack: sf/ff pudding.
