The NIGH****CHMAN - Wednesday 8/5
Pretty good sleep for me today.
Got a call from Mary a few minutes ago laughing at me because I wore my Crocs to work (I do almost every night). Just that it is supposed to rain and I did not know it. My feet will get a little wet. Oh well, water won't kill me.
Two work nights at the full time gig left for the week. Wow, this week is going by quick.
Anonymous prayers for the friend of a TMBer, who is very troubled at this time.
Prayer requests are listed below.
Also, please feel free to just visit here. Tell us about how your day went. Your successes. Your failures. Your fun. Whatever. When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.
Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness. Please thank God for these men and women every day. In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

She said she wanted a smoothie and that's her first intake since 7/23, she said it tasted devine, lol.

Pretty good day today. I woke up early, got the house ready for the professional photographer to come, and then got myself ready to leave for Dallas. I left here at 9:30 and arrived just before 2. My meeting with my recruiter was at 3 and we wrapped up at 4:15. Traffic coming back was very light. I made it home in just under 4 hours. When I got home, we had dinner and I watched Man vs. Food (tonight's episode was filmed in San Antonio) and Wipeout on the DVR.
Tomorrow, I've got to review Avis's cover letter and resume, look at my own again and maybe make some changes, get to the gym and Goodwill, go help do some set up for Saturday's social club luncheon, and a doctor appointment.
I'll be around for a little bit still tonight. Prayers for all who need them.
