I got sprung this afternoon! I will be on a low fiber no residue full liquid diet fir 3 weeks, then slowly add 1 food at a time. Boring!! None of my go to foods are on the list! I would have come home yesterday but Sunday night I had a dystal (sp?) reaction to phenergan! I.ve taken it for years but my body doesn'y seem to like it anymore. Never been throgh any thing like it and never wan't to again!I will eventually have to have the adhesions taken down but no time soon.

Thanks so much to all for your well wishes and prayers, and thanks for Viv checking on me and up dating you all and relaying messages to me! I am pooped and Ken needs the puter so I will check back later!

Yours always,
Meggie

Meggie, glad you are home lady.  What type of diet are you on, is it a diet for ulcers?

It is a low fiber, low residue diet! No cruchies, noberries,no dried fruit, no nuts seeds or whole grains, no fibrous fruit (only melons), no raw veggies, no broccoli or legumes, no rice pasta noodles no high fiber protein bars etc.... I can have mush, pureed soup, oatmeal malt o meal, fudge sicles and popcycles, well done really chewed meat, chicken or fish!! No bean soup wich of course I am craving!

I have 3 jujenal (sp?) ulcers and the adhesions are causing kinks in my bowel. They do not want me to have surgery so we are going to try this!! It was a really expensive 5 day poch test!!

Love your new avatar.
