Any puppies out there?

We were supposed to be getting a puppy to surprise my daughter for her birthday and due to a misunderstanding we will not be getting the one we had planned for. (long story) Does anyone have any knowledge of someone with any puppies? We don't have any $$ available for an adoption fee so going through a shelter isn't an option for us rigjht now. I am so upset over this I am beside myself. . Will consider any breed.  Thanks in advance for any help you can give....

July, there was a sign out down the street from where I live in Friendswood offering free puppies, but I don;t know if they still have any or not.  It would be a long drive for you - let me know if you want me to check it out and see if they have any left.  I don't know what breed - muttlies I am sure - but don't even know what mix.

If you can find out the number for me that would be great. We don't mind driving....thanks!
