Monday Morning Weigh In

Good morning to all of you.  I hope you all had a good week and are ready for a new week with more weight loss. 
This has been a good week for me except for some unusal pain I have been having in my legs that has kept me from sleeping well.  Other than that, I have ate better and had more energy to do more things.  Hopefully this week will be just as good without the pain. 
I lost 1.8 lbs this week.  How did all of you do?
I posted some recipes for WLS yesterday on the TMB and hope you all try them and enjoy them.

Deborah......had to stop in and let you know how proud I am of you !!!!  You are doing such a amazing job.   Hey did you notice you are almost to Onderland???   WOOO HOOO for that.    My weight has been a rollercoaster....up and then down.   I have been really trying hard to loose some and when you are almost 4 yrs post op it is harder to loose.   But I am down 1 1/2 lbs from friday.    That is not to say that it may return tomorrow.   LOL   Good luck to you and you're doing a awesome job !!!!

Thank you so much.  I am tickled pink to be losing each week and see the weight coming off and my clothes getting baggier.  I LOVE IT.... I am not losing a lot of poundage lately but the inches are coming off and that is just as nice to me.  I will take a pound here and 2 inches there anytime.

I had a good week and still losing, so I am happy.  I am slowly creeping towards both the century mark AND the 140's, which I haven't seen in over 20 years.  Some of my 10's are getting loose so I may be shopping for 8's soon, which blows my mind.  Getting to a single-digit size exceeds my wildest dreams with this surgery - I was thrilled to get to a 12!

Way to go Sarah.  I dream of the day that I get to buy a size 12 again.  I haven't seen that size since about 1980.  I am getting closer everyday and soon you will buy that size 8 .

Knocking on 13 months out and still loosing here and there.  My one year follow up was good.  My surgeon was out, so I saw his partner which was disappointing  -  but he said I had done an amazing job and would expect that I could lose another 10-15 pounds over the next six months.  I'm sure that all depends on how hard I apply myself. 

That is fantastic.  I hope I can do as well as all of you have done.  My surgeon says I am right on track on my weight loss and am doing better than she expected me to do.

You are doing great, Deborah and you will get there, too!

Just don't get discouraged and think you "only" have a year to lose - Jodie and I are good examples of those who continue to lose after our 1-year anniversary.  Yes, it is much slower and the stalls last longer, but it is still coming off. 

Thank you.  I am happy with the way things are going.  I know Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will all the weight come off that soon.  Anything good worth having has to be worked for, and I have a lot of hard work ahead of me.  But, it will all be worth it in the end.  I am already down to a size 16w and that is down from size 24W the day of my surgery June 9th.  I have passed my 2 month goal already and am very happy with the results. 
I know the closer you get to your total goal weight it gets harder and harder to get those last few pounds off, but with hard work and determination, it will happen.
