August Adventure Sunday
It's hard to believe that July flew by so quickly and we're already in August, day 2..
If you didn't post goals yesterday or post yesterday at all, what are your goals for August?
Mine are to lose a few lbs. EXERCISE...not just think about it!
Today's plans:
lot of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks...working on one right now
brunch...high protein at Breadwinners or Taco Cabana
dinner...don't know since I'm not at home...will fix something high protein tonight at home
What's your plan? Make it a good one!

My plan for the day is to stay in the kitchen baking and pre cooking for the week. Will do my best to stay on track and actually eat. Weekends are bad for me if I'm home. I just don't bother to eat. Yesterday it was 1:30 before I had a bite at all.
Trying to up the protein a bit more and the water as well. Vitamins will be packed for the week.

I was able to stay in onederland for my July Journey. However, toward the end, the carb monster attacked me. I weighed 198 for the end of my journey. I had gotten down to 194.8. the week before. I want to see 195 by Labor Day or at least by the end of September. So for this month, I am going to set my goal to lose 5-7 pounds.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
Oh sister...chick-o-sticks are evil...ate them all the way home yesterday. Today hasn't started off good either. Clay and I went to Burger Island and I had 1/3 of a double cheeseburger (which is HUGE) and about 10 FF followed by 2 small frozen Milky Ways. I need to get inside my head and figure out WHY I'm eating this way. I know I've got to stop.
I have a London Broil marinating for dinner and will munch on that the next few days. I also bought salad fixings. Haven't been doing well lately on "sides" to go with dinner-too many potatoes. I also need to be more faithful about my vitamins. I do great for a week or two then slack off. No excuses, I just need to DO it.
Goals for August:
1. Take all my viamins everyday
2. Have labs done
3. Cut WAY BACK on the carbs.
4. Lose back to 154-155.

I did take my vitamins... I am making sure I don't skip a dose of those things.
Goals for this month and remaining:
More food with high protein
Water Water Water
Vitamins
Gain some weight so I can start back at the gym
Make sure I eat breakfast and not just coffee to start my day
Love to you all...
Thank you for being my family
For today....
Cracker Barrel breakfast....Scrambled Eggbeaters, 1 slice bacon, 2pc. wheat toast
L.....Grilled chicken salad
S.....Protein shake
D....Taco Soup w/ a fewblue corn chips crumbled on top
So today I cleaned out the fridge and pantry - got rid of all the carbs. I went to the store and bought all my good foods and today I'm cooking my go-to proteins to have them in the fridge and ready for the week.
My goals for August are:
1. get back to running/walking and lifting weights at least 3 times a week
2. get refocused on proteins first and water/tea only (no sodas, ugh!)
3. get all vitamins/supplements in daily and on schedule
4. figure out how to make deeper friendships so that I have people to turn to instead of food. I find myself still keeping people at a distance and I don't know how to fix that. I have met so many wonderful people in the past year and I love them, but I still keep a wall up. I have no idea why.
