yes he is a blue heeler...supposedly full blooded...but no papers. They are smart I know. Our other dog was mixed with one and was so smart. He put our bigger dog in her place!! The lady that got rid of him had him 6 days...her other dog is also a male blue heeler and did NOT like this puppy at all and would not adjust....so she had to let him go. That's funny about the playing dead thing.....
Funnest, and sometimes most frustrating, dog I had on the ranch was a blue heeler / beagle cross. He was beagle on top but roll him over and there were his heeler spots. Loved to ride in the truck, chased the cows if they were not chasing him, loved to play in the water. Could take him to Tyler, let him out at Sam's to do his business, put him back in the truck, shop and go home no problem. Take him five miles down the road to the vet's office - I had to wear welding gloves to keep him from biting the hell out of my arms. Accidentally ran over him one night at my mother's house. Broke his hips so had to put him down. Buried him on top of a hill over looking the pasture in the river bottom.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
