Hints needed
Thanks for the suggestions all. We have agreed to try and find some things we can do that are free. We can always drive to Austin or other close by larger towns.
He is also going to go volunteer w/ me at the GED program.
He has applied for his unemployment - did that the day he got laid off. His boss is offering merchandise/equipment in lieu of last check - so we are deciding what to do. The offer is a $1,000.00 Dell laptop, docking station, a "conference table" and chairs. Our middle son is in need of a table for his new duplex (first year he won't be living in dorm) so he could use the table and chairs for a kitchen table. We really need the money, but know it may not happen.
I just found out that my unemployment will be kicking BACK in thanks to Gov. Perry - so I will get an additional 13 weeks - of which 9 will be sent in a lump sum - so financially things are looking brighter.
Things will turn out the way they are supposed to and God will look out for us. (He all ready has w/ the news about my unemployment coming back!)
