Saturday WLS Express

GOOD MORNING. I've been up since 6:30, when Bryan got up and woke me up, but that's okay. Chris has a sleepover at a friend's house, and Bryan is off to work, so now I've got some quiet time before Rise and Shine. Gina-wish you were going to be there but glad you have the work. And next weekend you'll be taking a 5 hour plane ride to fun in the sun! So that's great. I'm happy for you!
Hope the gamblers have a great time. I have Chris with me all day and I don't think they'd allow him in the casino! lol.
I didn't even know it was raining until the pizza guy came at 8pm! Had a later supper than usual because I came home with a headache that started sitting in traffic, and laid down for a while until it went away.

Good morning.  I'm up and at em while Ben is still sleeping here at the hotel.  I'm ready to shower and head to Ikea for a few mintues and quick breakfast and then on to WinStar.  A day full of OH peeps...what more could someone ask for?  Maybe luck with the $$$ today? 

We got to Dallas by 1:00, at downtown at Twisted Root Burger, which was great...first time I ate a burger patty w/o choking in 3 1/2 years.  I just ate my patty and a few onion rings.  It was an excellent burger.  We checked in the hotel and I took a nap.  We ate at Mi Cocina last night and then chilled in the room until bedtime.  There are a lot of noisy people here.  There was some type of beauty pageant with little girls to teen girls in there froo froo dresses and they were loading the elevators and out in the hall with their mommies at midnight being very loud!  I was ready to kick some beauty princess butt at 12:00 am...

Ready to hit the casino...best shower and get dressed so we can leave the hotel by 9:00...off for a fun filled day!

yep, 7:30 and I'm up, don't know WTH for.. but I am.  I guess it's to read where everyone else is going and what fun they are having this weekend.  Me, umm, not so much.  I think my Cajun girl and I have the same woo hoo weekend planned of laundry and cleaning. lol

don't know what to even post.  Not in a good place with the kid, with the scale, and with any social anything so i guess I'll just send prayers for healing and health and happiness to everyone.  Safe travels, hurried healing and may your time with your family and friends be the best.

I wanted to sleep in, but my cats had me up at 7 because they were begging for breakfast.  Let's just say between their very vocal complaints and headbutts, I got up.  I'm headed up to FTW today.  I sorted out the surgery stuff yesterday.  I'm now the 3rd person on the schedule instead of the 1st, but at least they have me scheduled for the right surgery now!

I'm up and moving slow this morning.  My knee seems to be improving slowly.  I'm trying to rest it a lot.  Hubby made delicious omelets for breakfast.  I love Saturday mornings because he always makes breakfast then we spend a couple of hours just sitting and drinking coffee together.  It's nice.

The house is almost ready for our overnight guests tonight.  I have a short list of chores that need to be finished up this morning.  Then I need to make a quick run to the grocery store to pick up something to cook for Sunday morning breakfast.  I'm thinking I might make baked French toast or muffins.  But, I'm hesitant to turn on the oven and heat up the house.  Anybody have a great breakfast recipe that will serve 8?

The great thing about having to get my house clean for company is that it'll actually be done.  That means come Monday there'll be nothing standing in the way of sewing or scrap booking.  I always think that I should clean house before I do those things; therefore I don't do either.  LOL.

Go out and make it a great day ... drink your water ... dehydration can happen to you and it's not fun.

Good morning!!!  Had a busy day yesterday as I went to get a partial fill, took daughter to the doctor, went out to lunch, trip to Lowe's and Walmart.... and I was exhausted!!!!!!  My makeup did a pretty good job covering up any remaining bruises but the swelling is still pretty bad and that will just take time as the numbness will too.

Today I had to get up early because we had a handyman coming to work on my honey do list since my honey isn't too handy!!!   Ended up making 2 more trips to Lowe's after he got here!!! URG!  The leaky faucets could not be repaired so I had to go buy 3 new ones...$$$$$ that was not budgeted for this little project!

MIL is coming in from San Antonio this afternoon and we are going to see hubby perform in his last performance tonight!!!  The kids are really excited to watch daddy act and he is already wanting to try out for the next play.   Some husbands buy sports cars or have affairs when they go through their midlife crisis.... mine he joins a community theater!!!!!

Tomorrow I plan on doing nothing all day but resting as I go back to work on Monday!!!!

hey guys - good day - LOL b/c it sure is not still morning - took tim in at 5:30 he finally is at the airport at 2 pm - no vistors so the kids and I have been home all day - I have comfot eaten all day but before I go to bed tonight I will have a schedule and menu for tomorrow
