I have a different surgery than you, but I had a lot of vomiting in the first weeks after surgery and trouble getting the protein. Could not handle meat at first. I almost lived off of fat free refried beans. Get them really hot and mash them even more if it is too thick still add liquid like water, beef broth, chicken broth, mild salsa or something to thin it down. I made my own pudding from the box and added protein powder, did the same with jello. Try to stay away from carbs you will feel even more hungry. Good luck!
