Just got off the phone with Meggie....I have good news and bad news. Bad news is the hospital gave her a diabetic shake high in protein and it made her sick. She just took pain meds for the pain....but the good news is she had cream of something (she didn't know what ) soup for lunch and she kept it down !!!! WOOO HOOOO for that considering she has not kept anything down for almost a week now. They did change the medicine up and she thinks that it is going to work. Ken brought her 3 protein drinks up there for her with 35 grams protein each. She said she knows that they will stay down. Meggie sends her love to everyone and says thanks so much for the well wishes and prayers being said in her behalf. If I talk to her later.....I will update you again. If not it will be sometimes tomorrow. If you are over near Arlington Memorial Hospital....stop by and visit with her. She is in room 3312.
