Sabrenia is temporarily home

Sabrenia had to wait on me to get there today...blasted weather and traffic! But we finally got her checked out and on the road. A quick trip to Krogers to fill her RX and to pick up some starter foods and on to the hotel. Jeri met us at Krogers and followed us to the hotel. Once Sabrenia was settled in, Jeri started telling us all about life after WLS! We had a blast...a real hen party! Sabrenia is a real trooper! I'm sure she'll sleep like a log tonight since she won't have a nurse of some sort knocking on her door all night! She said to thank everyone for your prayers, they worked! She'll be staying near the hospital until Aug 6.

Thanks for the up date Dee. I'm so upset I did not make it down there today but believe it or not the weather was bad here and well it was Friday. My 1 1/2 trip would have taken 2 1/2 hours and that would not have given me time to visit for long befor I had to head back and I was scared I would not get back in time for my daughter to get to work on time. (she would have keep my little one for me)
I will give her a call tomorrow and check on her.

Don't feel bad, it took me 2 tries to get there! I live on the East side of town..totally opposite from where she is. Usually as long as I watch the work traffic times, I can get to that hospital in 30min. Today, the 3 ways I know to get there were all bumper to bumper traffic even at noon. Then there were the thunderstorms.... I turned around and came home!!! Tried again around 2 and went the long way around on Beltway 8, only 90 minutes that trip!  Got there OK...all was good!

Jeri and I are going to try to go back on Sunday...maybe we'll see ya!

Does she need anyone else to check on her??  I could probably go see her on Monday.  Ask her and let me know!!
