GOOD MORNING! How is everyone today? We saw My Sister's Keeper last night. I forgot to pack kleenex and Bryan was nice enough to go get Christy and I some napkins and we needed them! I liked the movie. Sad of course, but touching.
Today I get to go to Kathy's prison! I've never been to a jail or a prison before. Should be interesting. A coworker and I are going to represent the agency at a resource fair in the medical center of the federal woman's prison.
Our plans for the weekend- tonight nothing that I know of, tomorrow Bryan has to work and Chris and I will come to Rise and Shine. After that no other plans. I'm getting a bonus in tomorrow's paycheck -instead of a raise, I got a 3 perecent of my yearly salary bonus- so I see some shopping in my future. I've been needing a few things, like shoes and stuff, so I'm excited.

Ok, TODAY is Friday!  Woo Hoo!  My woo hoo is that it's finally Friday!  I'm a firm believer that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.  I believe that I was supposed to loose my office job and get back into the plant to meet Troy who has opened my eyes to the VA and applying for my disabilities!  Amazing.  You don't always see it right away, but it's always there!  I've met some amazing people and I'm really glad that this happened.  Sometimes it'd difficult to see the silver lining to the cloud when it's raining on you, but it's always there.  Always!

Well, I'm going to work on my bedroom this weekend and get things straightened out.  If things work out in the next month or so, I may be purchasing my own home and I really need to make room in my life for that to happen. As it stands, my life is not ready for this, so I have to open myself to the possibility and clean my room!  My mom is echoing in my head!  Clean your room!! LOL!!

If I remember the forecast correctly, we're expecting more rain today, right?  So I'm going to go get ready and get on the road early so I don't run into any problems!  Have a great day!  Love ya!

Good morning all!! Going to post before showering (yes-that IS me you smell), or time will get away from me, and I'll never get around to posting... All is good..and crazy/upside down, as usual in my lil corner of the world. I drove an hour, each way, to work 4 hours yesterday..but..by doing that..I'm SUPPOSED to get to "keep" the patient on days, 8am-8pm, for as long as she needs Continuous Care. Plus, it's for the hospice company I believe I'd like to go to work for full time, and I prefer working their cases over any others. It's all good. I kinda figured I was going to have to work the weekend..just a feeling I had, early on..and I was right...has been a very slow week...Have only worked Mon and Tues night, then only 4 hrs Wed night and 4 hrs yesterday...hard to afford a Puerto Rican vacation THAT way!! So, of course, that knocks me out of RNS ansd Winstar tomorrow...I HATE missing stuff...whine...sigh...stomp my feet...feeling sorry for myself...okay...***** fit all done!!!

left Tim and Rach snuggling in bed b/c I can't sleep any longer - Tim leaves tomorrow for a month of training in CA-that has nothing to do with me not sleeping LOL I just don't sleep late no matter what- as soon as I get my shake and caffine in I plan to make cookies for the guys (n Rach of course) while frying bacon and playing on FB - gotta love a kitchen computer

plans for today include some painting  - maybe - lots of chilling at home time with the hubby, walks and talks - our teen ROCKS he is the best kid you guys - he takes his sister and keeps her quiet happy and safe so we can have couple time to talk and be together.  he told the neighbor kid he couldn't stay the night (before I could) b/c Dad was leaving Sat and he needed to help with sister and spend family time - how is that for a huge turn around from a couple of yrs ago?? WOW moment for sure

got quite a bit of my walls done yesterday downstairs - want more up but need more fabric and woudl really like to go though what is in the sewing room BEFORE I go buy more -sheepish grin here- we cut out leaves, hearts, stars and shapes in 10 to 20 inch peices and then made random flowers and designs with them - all in red, orange, yellow and blue - the colors my down stairs is becoming - NOT living in a white box for 2-4 yrs

Good Morning, TMB!

Quick fly by this morning.  I have the first appt at the dealership this morning to get my O2 sensor put into my car.  It's only been 2 weeks without it.  Gas mileage "should" get better!

I'm not going to be able to head to the casino with the group this weekend - too many $$$$$ going into the car this week if ya KWIM.  And I need to save my pennies for my Sept trips that direction!!!

Gotta get my fanny into the shower!!

For those getting t-storms, be careful out there.  Don't forget your WATER and VITS and PROTEIN today and make an appointment with yourself for a WORKOUT!!!!

I am up, and getting ready to embark on a camping trip to Arkansas.  We are taking 6 kids to Murfeesboro to go diamond digging.  What a way to spend my first surgiversary! 

To say that I am blessed is an understatement.  I want to thank each of you for walking with me on this journey.  I have learned so much from you guys, and had a blast in the meantime!!  You are among my chosen family, and I love you guys. 

Everyone have a fantabulous weekend, and take care of yourselves.  Prayers going up for everyone, especially Meggie and Elizabeth Grace.

Que and I have been twice to the Dimond Field.  Taking 6 kids be sure to take plenty of water and towles.  It gets really hot and dirty especially this time of the year.  We have been in the Spring when it was cool and in the summer when it was not.  Both times enjoyed it very  much.  Last trip a friend found a diamond worth about $300.00 uncut.  Be sure to visit the shops in town and have a great time.
