9 PM UPDATE ON MEGGIE !!!!

I finally got hold of Meggie. She said she was down stairs having tests ran for about 4 hours today. They have found not only does she have the problems with the adhesians but she also has 3 ulcers. UGH Poor Meggie. She sends her love to everyone and wanted me to THANK YOU everyone for the well wishes and prayers. She still is not being able to hold anything down. They are trying again tomorrow with a liquid diet and new meds to treat the ulcer. Please keep her in your prayers.

Thanks so much Dee....she did sound better tonight on the phone...but I could tell she was NOT dopped up like she has been for a week. I am praying really hard that tomorrow will be the beginning of a turnaround for her.

Breaks my heart that today is her 2 year surgiversary too and hers was spent in the hospital. Prayers will continue for my twinkie!!!

Stephanie...if it makes you feel better....when she answered her phone about a hour ago....ooops 1.5 hours ago....I did tell her Happy Surgiversary !!!! Thanks for keeping our Meggie in your prayers. She has been one extremely sick lady. But she did sound much better tonight. Not as dopped up on pain meds.

hey Viv
i talked to her via phone yest and she was nice and looped! Poor girl.. glad they maybe at least have a diagnosis for her?? hope she gets relief soon! She said yest she had tried jello and had to follow it with Demerol :(

Yeah....I know Liz she tried jello but everything hurts her stomach and she gets sick from it. Hopefully they will try some more medication today and hopefully something will work for her....they HAVE to find something to help poor Meggie out !!! They just have to !!!
