My 2 year Surgiversary
Today is the 2 year anniversary of the third most important event to EVER take place in my life. Having WLS is only surpassed by my marriage to Clay 25 years ago and the birth of my daughter Hailey. There has been no other event in my life that’s had a more dramatic impact.I have reached GOAL and have lost 100% of the excess weight I carried prior to surgery. That in itself is a remarkable feat but the most IMPORTANT thing that has occurred due to my WLS is the friendships I have formed. I can honestly say I never knew what TRUE friendship was until I met you guys. I can’t believe it too****il I was in my 50’s to REALLY have “girl” friends. Thank you for “getting” me, loving me for who I am, and for always being there for me. I really DO love you guys more than my scale.

HAPPY SURGIVERSARY STEPHANIE !!! I did post about your's and Meggies 2nd surgiversary today. You both have done such a amazing job with your WLS. Please keep our Meggie in your prayers. She is in lots of pain and I am really very worried about her. She is not keeping anything down. UGH not good !!! I am praying really hard for the doctors to come up with something to help her with those darn adheisiens. Have a dynomite day !!!

I weighed 313 pounds on December 1, 2008 the day of my RNY surgery and have lost 81%
of my excess body weight to-date. Current as of November 1, 2009
OH Mini-Challenge Goal for New Year's Day is 170 pounds. 11 pounds to go!

Steph, I came on this morning specifically to tell you it's been a joy knowing you and watching your transformation. Even with the journey being difficult and challenging at times you NEVER gave up. I'm super proud of you and THANKFUL to know you in real life. Congratulations, you look marvelous.
