2 year check up
Went for my 2 year check up today. IT was very good and informative. I knew my iron was low but I found out how low. It was at 28!!! In December it was 65. Good news it hasn't affected any of the other things that can be affected by low iron. So I will try the Ferrett ISP liquid iron and retest my blood in December to make sure it is going in the right direction. Other than that the good news was I was down 3 pounds from last year!!! I am now down 103 pounds. Let's just hope I can figure out how to keep it off for another year. Going for my one year check up is like going to the GYN. They are the only doctor's I worry about gaining when I see them.LOL
Teena, I went today too. I LOVED the group setting. Mine lasted 2 HOURS. I finally had to leave cuz I was meeting Mel and Wendy for lunch. My only disappointment was not seeing Dr Barker, they didn't tell me he wouldn't be there.

We had a GREAT meeting as well. We had one woman that wore on my nerves but that happens everytime you get a group together. I loved how Dr. T went over different options for vitamins and proteins. I was suprised that Dr. B wasn't there because last year he ran the meeting but to me Dr. T is more personable.LOL I think ours lasted 1 1/2 hours and that was nearly 5 when it was over. I had to hang around because he wanted to talk to me about my low iron and my low blood sugars. I can handle those kinds of meetings once a year.
Oh did you see that Dr. B has a facebook page?? They said to join and you can post your pictures and such. I added him as a friend. I guess when he accepts I can see what exactly is there.
