WLS TERRIFIC THURSDAY EXPRESS
Good Morning my TMB Family,
I can not believe I am up so early. Was up in the night sick to my stomach, and then we had us some great storms. I sure do love a good thunderstorm. Dont have much on the agenda for today. Guess if it clears up, we might go to the pool later on. I promised the boys we would go yesterday and never got there so today is a must. Not much else going on. Prayers for those in need especially for Rebecca and Meggie as they continue to heal. Oh wait Terrific Thursday....It is Terrific that I have a tool that keeps me healthy and in check. Well, I woke up thinking, "At least it's Friday" but it's not. It's Thursday! And it's raining and thundering! I hope my car can survive another rainy day! The insurance guy is coming tomorrow to estimate the damage. [[[ heavy sigh ]]]
An old high school friend turned 50 yesterday and we all went to Chili's to celebrate. He LOVES being embarassed and embaassing everyone else! He kept saying hello and goodbuy to EVERYONE that walked through. Some Sansom Park cops were in there towards the end of the night and I could see them eyeing him! It was funny! He had had a few drinks, but he wasn't drunk. He was doing this at the beginning of the night!!
Wow, it's really raining outside!!
When I got to work yesterday, I wa**** in the face with a bunch of people in the break room with "Do you know what they are doing now???" I'm like, No, I wasn't here yesterday!! They are sending Injured on Duty people out for "Fitness for Duty" evaluations. I said, isn't that what your CA-17 is that the doctor fills out for your injury??? YES. And they are sending people in to the Reasonable Accomodation Committee which is for people injured OFF the clock! We were injured ON the clock. They HAVE to accomodate us and provide work. It's the LAW!! Right there in the Federal Registery under section 10! I wish the Post Office would quit trying to screw us. They go through this every few years. They don't realize we have more laws protecting us than they have against us! I gotta get outta there!! I'm gooing to have a panic attack, I think! This is driving me nuts!!
Well, I guess I'd better get so I can get to this wonderful job that provided for my every need! Have a great day, everyone! Love ya!!

Man Laura, The P.O. sure has changed since my Dad retired. I dont ever remember it being like this. I guess he retired about 20 or so years ago. He has lots of little things that happened while he was delivering mail and then Post Master but the VA has been really good about taking care of him. I sure hope they do the same for you and Soooooon. You are in my prayers.
Thank you ma'am! I precieatcha! Yes, things have changed. I hired on in 85 and things have changed tons!! With the decline of the mail volume, they are panicking!! Shame too. Used to be a great job, but it's not any more!

GOOD MORNING! I decided to wait a bit before getting in the shower and going to work because its storming here so badly. I'm very afraid of the dark- always have been- so I'll probably light a few candles before getting in the shower in case the electricity goes off!
Tonight going to the movies. I'll be done alot earlier than Bryan so after work I'll head over the NE Mall and walk around/shop/ etc. Might grab some dinner too.

good morning all - determind to make this a terrific Thursday - have choc banana bread baking, hash browns made and stuff for egg mcmuffins ready to make as soon Tim calls and says he is headed home for breakfast. Rachel and I are up n dressed - she is on a potty training kick - the little girl next door is not but her mom is determind she should be n Rach is picking it back up - I am offering choc for poopys on the potty but no luck so far LOL
got our home phone n internet going yesterday - Tim spent a good 90 mins on the phone with tech support b/c the modem was not set to use the wireless router - umm excuse me but I told the lady when I picked up the modem that all our computers were wireless - oh well glad he got it taken care of while he was home b/c I would have been in tears
got paint and am planning out how I want to paint my kitchen table - have the big round one - I am tiered of white - going to do 2 shades of blue, yellow and red to match the curtians in the living room area - I am down to 1 1/2 boxes plus pictures and starting to get creative - have to have something to do I can control
my clothes are getting loser and the scale is staying on the bottom of my bounce and lower so I am ok with that part of my wls journey right now - will do some major work on me after the kids start school on the 6th
