August Adventure starts Saturday!  It's almost here...hard to believe that more of 2009 is now behind us than ahead...it's less than 5 months until Christmas.

Hope everything went well for everyone yesterday. 

Vicki V...glad you jumped on in. 

Lisa...good luck on the strict regime...you CAN do it!

Today's plan for me:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
leftover chicken picatta for lunch
spaghetti at church for dinner
high protein snack
fruit snack if needed

Hey...at least last night I did not give into the wake up during the night and think I need to eat cravings...I drank some water and went right back to sleep!

Still mostly on liquids since it's still hard to chew.  Going in on Friday to get some of my fill put back in.  Although I have to admit it's been kindof nice without it.  I've been very careful abou****ching what I eat and luckily I can't eat too many solids right now or might be in big trouble!!!  It totally sucked that one night in the hospital = 11lb gain!!!!!  I know it's from all the fluid and IV's but man its hard to see that on the scale.  So far I have managed to lose 8 of those... and hopefully by the end of the week I will be back to where I started!

I'm ready for our August Adventure!!!!

Okay, I'm continuing this July Journey so I'll be ready for the August Adventure.  I did good sticking to my plan yesterday until my fish tacos didn't stay down.  I think maybe I didn't chew it well enough and the tortilla got stuck.  So then I ate about 8 crackers and called that dinner.  So, I didn't make my grilled peaches for evening snack.  I'm going to do that tonight.

Today's plan ...

As always, start the day with coffee
Breakfast - Greek yogurt, blueberries and almonds
Snack - Protein bar and more coffee
Lunch - Lean Cuisine
Snack - Protein drink
Dinner - Swiss Steak
Snack - Grilled peach

I took Tylenol PM last night because my knee was hurting and I needed to relieve the ache so I could sleep.  But now I have a hangover from that ... that means extra coffee for me this morning.  I'm going to go make another cup and watch The View before I start cleaning.

Hi Karla & TMB,

Well.....with the help of a few overeaters annonymous pals I managed to stick it through day 2 of my 5dpt.  Not sure, but I think I can already tell that it's worked or working on my pouch.

Anyhow....today is day 3 for me and I made my meal plan first thing this morning.

B'fast: 2 hard boiled eggs w/ picante sauce
Lunch: 5 oz. Tuna w/ limon, salt & peper
Snack: 1 Protein Shake
Dinner: 6oz steamed Tilapia
Evening Snack: 2 Hard Boiled Egg Whites

Not easy, but I'm hanging on for dear life.
