 Good evening all.  Busy day, visiting with our friend, then out to see Penny and the kids.  Getting ready to go see Brad and his kids.

Will try to stop by later.

Prayer requests are listed below.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Hi George;

I think I've had my laziest day of unemployment to date. I went on some new meds last week to help even me out and am having a hard adjustment. I'm constantly nauseous (I've lost 5 lbs. since Wednesday) and I'm tired but I can't get deep sleep without a sleep med and then I'm in a fog a good part of the next day.

I got up this morning, filled for my biweekly TWC payment, went through the job listings and applied for 6. I dozed off between 10:30 and 11 and took a nap from 1:30-2:30. I saw my shrink at 3, went to the dry cleaners and grocery shopping, helped cook dinner, loaded my car for a Goodwill run tomorrow morning and went through 6 boxes from when my mom moved out of her house. I kept a few things, but most of it is going to Goodwill.

Tomorrow, I'll do the Goodwill run, get an oil change on my car, and then come back and keep packing up the kitchen.

I'll be around for a while tonight. I've got to take my antibiotic at 1am, so I'll probably try to stay up until then in an effort to have one less interruption to my sleep. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

Hey there George....
A fairly lazy day here today.  Just how I like it!!!  I know the days are going to start getting fast and furious here before too long as school starts on the 24th of August but it will be here before we know it!!!  I had the girls start getting their stuff together so we don't have to spend the entire day on Saturday running around like chickens with our heads cut off getting stuff packed up.

Another weather front is headed our way so the humidity is up a bit and I have a headache, not horrible, but I can tell it is coming.  My sister said she had one tonight too so her and I both have those weather ones.  V gets them too.

I won a $100 gift card to a store up here (similar to Wal-Mart/Target) from the radio station today!  That was so cool!!!  My sister won a mountain bike from them a few weeks ago, too.  The gift card doesn't have an expiration date, either, so I can use it for anything I want before I leave but better yet can use it next year.  I may take it out to the store and see if they will divide it into two $50 ones so I can leave one here.  A lot of times I ask my sister come holiday time to buy my "stocking stuffers" for my mom and dad as it seems silly for me to buy everyday stuff that we like to put in for SS's and then pay to mail them.  Mom likes things like toothpaste or dental floss, stamps, etc. so I just make a list of those everyday things and my sister heads out and gets them for me.  I usually give her a gift card to either Wal-Mart or Target, etc. and then I don't have to worry about having to write her a check for what she's spent!  Works out great!  If they will divide them, then I'll just leave one here for holiday shopping!

Ok, getting late, better get moving!
