Good evening all.  This week is gonna be messed up.  Taking days off and half days off.  By the end of the week I will be thankful to guess within two days, what day of the week it is.

Niki spent the night with us last night.  Mary is bringing her to the hotel for the convention tonight.  We will go get her on Saturday night to go out to eat.  She leaves Sunday.  Niki did ask us today if we would like a visit from her 18 year old daughter.  We'd love to!  Hopefully she will come in around the 12th of August for a week or so.

Just working part time job tonight.  Then going home for some Mary-time.

Prayer requests are listed below.

Also, please feel free to just visit here.  Tell us about how your day went.  Your successes.  Your failures.  Your fun.  Whatever.  When I post this thread, I do not have access to any chat programs, so this sometimes substitute as that vessel for me.

Continue to keep your thoughts and prayers for the members of our Armed Forces serving around the world, especially during this time of increased awareness.  Please thank God for these men and women every day.  In addition, please keep the wives and family members in your thoughts.

Hi George;

I had a pretty busy day today. Applied for two jobs, took a car load of stuff to Goodwill, unpacked two boxes that my mom had brought here when she sold her house, went through them and got rid of enough stuff that I repacked one, scanned a bunch of old photos, helped Michael clean out the garage more so we have a place to put packed boxes and packed two new boxes from my home office.

I had left my cell in the kitchen most of the day. When I came downstairs after spending the afternoon scanning pictures I had a voicemail from a recruiter in Dallas. They want me to come in this week. We've been planning to head up on Thursday night for my cousin Rick's birthday this weekend. Depending on when they want to see me, we may end up coming up earlier.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I've been having a lot of fun hanging out with Rick and Nicole when I come up for interviews. It will be nice to have Michael with us, too. Plus, another home in their neighborhood went up for rent. We really like from the pics on realtor.com so we're going to try to see it at some point over the weekend.

That's all I've got for today. I've got to get up at 3am for my next dose of antibiotics, so I can't take a sleeping pill. I'm not sure if I'll be around much tonight or not. I'm yawning, so I may just try to get some rest now.

Have a good night. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

Howdy George...
Hope all is well down your way.  Slowly starting to gather stuff up.  I have the two older girls' excess of clothes all packed up and IN their suitcases already!  Yippee!!!  Usually I don't even start on that until the day before we leave.  I just figured it would be easier on me if I did a little each day and so far, I think it is working.  I'll work on Sarah's excess clothes tomorrow.  Last day of tennis for all three girls is tomorrow.  Paul gets here very late Thursday night so we have two more "daddy-free" days.  Once he gets here though, the girls act like I'm chopped liver.  Whatever...

OH...the pups were born on Monday.  V isn't going to be happy as there was only ONE male pup, the other four were females.  The lady isn't going to make us confirm whether or not we want it until a few weeks from now when they get their color "trend".  Right now all of them are dark but as they get older, they will take on more of their permanent "look".  I definitely don't talk about it up here because mom and dad are VERY much against the whole idea.  I think they will be pleasantly surprised on how involved V will be.  I know this mom will have to act as "mom" with the pup while V is in school though.  Schnauzers are VERY fast learners though.

Yikes...going on 2 am already...better get a move on!!!
